I went all in on TutorLMS and needed some help getting the navigation to work in a way that was easier for users. Tech support took the time to to listen to what I needed for my students. Then they helped me with a solution.

Not to be relied upon as a primary partner for business. Personally I cannot even recommend TutorLMS for a hobby site. A major update was announced without a beta testing period included. A week before the release was due, they announced it wouldn’t be going live, and then launched a testing version, with a new release date. The new release date has passed and no 3rd release date has been announced.

After purchasing a course, the account is not created automatically as already set in the settings. The mask of TutorLMS in the settings is buggy, the colors are not applied correctly or certain settings have to be made twice because it is not saved. Keep your hands off it and don’t waste any time

The plugin is bloated and very heavy compared to some competitores. Customer service is ok, if you manage to get somebody who actually speaks english. The last time this seemed to be the case.
Giving 1 star would not be fare, but I would not rate it above average. If I still could I would ask for a refund.

I recently encountered a problem where the free version Tutor LMS was only showing “What’s New” and “Get Pro” on my website, and I was completely stuck. I couldn’t access the full features of the plugin and tried various solutions without success. Never I was so convinced of going for the Pro version just by looking at the demo, and never was I put off so quickly by testing it on my site. 200 bucks is way to expensive for something that doesn’t deliver as promised. Either the documentation is obsolete or hacked because:
I hope version 3.0 fixes all these UX-UI issues. I’m not investing such big money for something unfitting.
Willing to change this review once someone is going to clarify all above… I didn’t get any support so far.

This is the most annoying plugin I have ever used. First, it didn’t have the option to write code in lessons. I can’t write “\” in it. If I wrote 2 times it, it removes all the other formatting on my paragraph.

The support is quite helpful, once you get your issue across. After being dismissed a couple of times with “it’s not possible” but staying persistent, the issue was eventually resolved.
Tutor LMS is a well-rounded software with a lot of interesting features for course creators. But like all WP plugins, there will be times when they just don’t work with your special set-up of plugins and themes and require some tweaking.
I’m happy to report, that the support team was very responsive and quick.

Worst plugin.
I installed this plugin on the fully functional website it simply perminently deleted already working and function pages of the website.
Now, I don’t have the backup not the pages and it’s content. I lost eveything.

Problem:
Found 2 elements with non-unique id #_tutor_nonce: <form class=”tutor-enrol-course-form” method=”post”> <input type=”hidden” id=”_tutor_nonce” name=”_tutor_nonce” value=”e8469416a7″><input type=”hidden” name=”_wp_http_referer”
The problem is due to duplicate id so it generates a warning error on the browser.
How to fix:
Use this method, this is a temporary solution.
