Tweetily Was working great but it has now quit working. No response from the author about what the problem may be.

I tried a few other tweet-old-posts plugins, but even ones recently updated refused to authorise twitter, this one authorised in an instant.
Great features, but there are a couple of things:
Hashtags from post tags doesn’t always work. Doesn’t seem to be length related, bo idea why, just a minor niggle.
Secondly, more of a feature request really,
If you are setting multiple tweets to be sent, a timer between the two would be nice, either that or change the number of tweets per hour, change that to tweet every X minutes (min of 10 minutes so you don’t spam everybody?)
All in all, a great plugin that’s gonna stay firmly activated on my site.

It automatically sends a tweet from your posts, with a short URL, this short URL opens a Full Page Advertisement when anyone clicks on it, TWICE, each time, the user has to click on ‘skip this ad’ TWICE to see your post. This is not mentioned anywhere and is in very bad taste for wordpress.

I used to love this plugin but something happened recently and it simply no longer sends out tweets. Uninstalling and reinstalling does nothing and repeated cries for help on the forum are going unanswered, so I’m deleting the plugin and looking for others that can do the same thing. Sorry.

Worked fine for a couple of weeks, seemed a really useful plugin. Then it just stopped, for no particular reason. I originally rated it one star for that reason, but then it started working again for no particular reason, and is now automatically tweeting blog posts at the times I’ve set it to. Fingers crossed it continues to do so. If it does I may come back and nudge the rating up to 4 or 5, because when it works this is a handy social media plugin. Equally, if it returns to malfunctioning I might pop back and shade it down to 2 or 1 again. But for now, all is good.

Ok, not only it is a rip of TweetOldPost, but when you decide to get rid of this, you can’t. Maybe we should inform www.ads-software.com.

The plugin is really great. Since tweets have a positive effect on SEO, I am using it on my website to give it a ranking boost.

Very good plugin, I’m using it at Nergiza with good results.
Only one problem, the random time added doesn’t work.

Works great on my WP 3.7.1 installation.
Thank you

Bad copy of the good old Tweet Old Post

Errors regardless of what I try. I reset the plugin, cleared my cache, everything… Twitter responds and it goes to a page within my WordPress installation that states that I don’t have permission to manage.

As the title implies, when it works, it’s absolutely great at tweeting and bringing traffic to my site. However, it’s gone down on me twice over the last two months and there’s no notification or notice it’s stopped.
I’d be giving this five stars were it to stay up all the time. I suspect it’s breaking down is related to WP website updates and I feel developers who wish their plugins to stay active should stay up to date on that.

Excellent! It works fine with WP 3.8.1. Shortlinks OK!

Some functionality seems purposefully limited, for example the “Minimum time between your tweets” is specified in hours which makes it not useful. Seems to be no way to turn this off so that they can go out whenever they are posted.
Instead of “If 0, it will default to 4 hours” how about 0 means it will post when there is a new post available?
It seems like it could be useful, but with these limits, not so much. Thanks for the effort so far!

Thanks a lot!!!! I have nothing to say….

Does what it says and tweets post. Found just the right combination to get all hashtags on each tweet. Hoping to get quality traffic to my site and this is a good start.
Thank you!

I use it in several WP installations a works fine. I’m waiting some upgrades and tweaks soon to make it better.

Broken functionality of latest build (3.2) has almost the same line for line source code as Tweet Old Post.
Bugs arose in the fork/rip whereby the latest Tweet Old Post had addressed issues not delivered in 3.2.
