Hello,
I’m just using for the first time this plugin and seems to be a very good job.
Anyway I’m getting some confusion because after the login with the link the page show the notice “Token expired”
“The token you are using has expired.” and after a while the user is granted the access. The same notice appears if you click on an old email link without insert in the login form the user and the password, but in this case the access is not allowed.
So should not be another notice for who use the token for the first time and in time? I think something like this “Token Accepted”
“The token you are using is valid” and then refresh to the website page.
How can I enable for every customer? Thank you.
When I click “log me in” it opens a new tab/window and logged in successfully. However, the prompt window stays on the countdown mode despite logging in. It’s not a deal breaker, but would be nice to refresh the window once token is used already from a UX point of view.
Many thanks for this plugin.
Hello,
Thank you for this great plugin !
I would like to know how to redirect after login with the link send in email (once the link sent by email is clicked, the site redirects me to php-admin whereas I would like the user to be redirected to his usual login page (under buddypress) and not the admin version) )
Hi there!
I’m using your 2-FA plugin with this mod in the wp-config file:
define(‘SS88_2FAVE_ENABLE_SUBSCRIBERS’, true);
Users are reporting an error when they try to login:
The token’s User agent doesn’t match
Any ideas? Happy to provide an admin login if you need to take a peak.
TY! ??
Appreciating the functionality this plugin provides,
I would like to request the addition of hooks (actions and filters) to the plugin, which would enable users to override or extend certain functionalities without modifying the core plugin files.
One particular area where this would be beneficial is the isEnabled method within the SS88_2FAVE class. Currently, to customize this method, it is necessary to override the entire class, which can be challenging and may lead to compatibility issues with future updates.
Hi there and thanks again for your work!
I’m using this plugin and it works great but now I’m working on some api for my website and I’ve noticed that for every api all I get the 2 factors notice. For the api I’m using JWT so I don’t need the 2FA to be enabled. Is there an hook to disable it for api calls?
Thanks!
Love the simplicity of this plugin. My site has three different levels of users.
Active paid users are S2Member Level 1
Once they expire, they are demoted to Subscriber
I enable this on specific account and nothing happens when logging in. Have tried adding for specific user levels in PHP but nothing. define(‘SS88_2FAVE_ENABLE_SUBSCRIBERS’, true);
My site uses the standard wp-login.php login form.
I really want this to work for me. Your help is appreciated.
Hi,
we have enabled 2 fa. but after entering the credentials, it is showing 502 error. We are using plesk and cloudflare.
In error log it is showing waf issues and upstream sent too big header while reading response header from upstream,
Please help
Hi there and thanks for this plugin!
Is there a way to customize the email notification template as you allow for the page after login?
Thanks.
I really like this plugin; it’s lightweight, task-specific, and easy to set up. I have already installed it on most of my clients’ websites. However, the only issue is that it does not support localization, so I am unable to translate it. I hope it can support localization soon. If it does, I am willing to help translate the Traditional Chinese part!
Hello Guys,
First i would like to say thanks for this plugin. Basic and simple to use. Just perfect.
I installed the plugin and set up everything in a matter of seconds.
However, it doesn’t seem to work on my website.
A User can login just as they normally would.
I’ve checked the on and off button, and it is ON.
Emailing runs through WP Mail SMTP and the email test works fine as always.
Would anyone be able to give me any advice?
Thanks for any help
Tony
Hi there,
recently setup 2FA plugin, but I find the email notification with the one-time login link is not nice nor clear
On my custom site, when the 2fa code is sent, the page redirects to a 502 error page. The 2fa email is still delivered and works for logging in, but it would be better if it had a popup that waited for you to click the link in email. IS there a way i can forward the wp-login.php page to a message saying to check email?
Can you create a way to remember a user’s trusted devices so they don’t have to check their email every time to login?
The plugin works great, but when I create roles, users should be redirected to the chosen category based on their role. Without the plugin, the redirection works, but when I activate the plugin, it doesn’t work: users are redirected to the homepage instead. Is there a solution?
I like this plugin for our Administrators. The problem is, I’d like it to be automatically enabled for administrators upon activation. The reason for this is that we have over 100 sites and use MainWP. We’d like to install it from MainWP (which we can already do) and upon activation, enable the 2FA for all Administrators automatically. It would take us months to do this manually. We would also like to have a notification to another email address (our ticketing system) if anyone Disable this feature.
Great Plugin, Thank you very much!
Is there an option to disable the notification:
“Two Factor (2FA) Authentication via Email
We have not detected a plugin installed that will handle your emails via SMTP. Please note, if you enable our plugin for a user you must make sure that your WordPress website sends and receives emails correctly, otherwise the user will be locked out until email sending works on your WordPress website.”
I use this SMTP Plugin (https://de.www.ads-software.com/plugins/smtp-mailer/) and it works as expected, but the notice allways shown…
Thank you for your Support..
