Hello,
Is there a way to reduce the size on mobile phones only? Currently, the typed text is running off the screen. What are your recommendations to fixing this or is there a solution already in place for this issue. Please advise.

Hello. I am using Typed Jr with Elementor. It works great. However, if I add it next to “we love (typewriter-effect)” the (typewriter-effect) appears on a new line instead of continuing the same line.
]]>Hi.
I just installed Typed JS for a very simple landing page.
It’s got 4 typed items.
Item 3 has 5 phrases that get typed then deleted.
Every time Item 3 finishes deleting/starts a phrase, Item 4 flickers.
This is visually distracting.
Is there any way to prevent Item 4 from flickering?
Thanks.
]]>If I enable Cusor (and its blinking) than I would expect that it would be shown AFTER the startDelay.
I miss the option to disable the cursor AFTER the text has finished.
Both options would be handy if I display two lines of typed text. With the first feature the blinking cursor in the second line wouldn’t be displayed. While with the second option the cursor vanish as soon as the second line is printed. So one could get the idea that two lines are typed sequentially and some part of the second line is earsed and retyped.
]]>Hey,
cool plugin, thanks!
I got two problems with the plugin. The text started indented which I could solve by removing the whitespaces in the html code. Let me know where I can send the adjusted typed.php file to.
Why are you using white-space:pre in the span element? When I switch that to white-space:normal the line breaks happen like expected.
I would love to share my fixed to you and the community.
Cheers
Andi
I want the 2nd line to type after the first one is done, I put a start delay on the 2nd line but it still starts typing right away.
]]>An in-line option would be cool. I need only a single word to be ‘typed’ and the rest of the string to be static, but I didn’t manage to achieve this result as my static text will go on the next line due to a div I believe.
Please advise.
]]>Hi, thank you for a great plugin. I would like to know how to implement a text wrap or carriage return into the string. I have tried & chr(10) and & chr(13) but this seems to crash the script. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Brett.
]]>If I refresh the page, it works. However coming from another page to this one, it doesn’t come up. I am using Chrome on a Mac. Thanks for your help! p
]]>On a mobile device, my line of typed text does not wrap. What is the code I need to use to make it wrap? I tried ccs wordwrap with no success. This would be a nice option to check off with some settings for mobile devices.
]]>I am trying to use this shortcode and it does not seem to work anywhere on my site? Is there something I am doing wrong?
]]>I want to have multiple typed titles on my page but I want them to start when they are in the window view, and not just when the page loads.
Is this possible? Has anyone tried to do this?
]]>I need help with adding line height and setting word wrap for the titles on my home page where I use your plugin. I tried adding it as css and also in the php file of the plugin but it doesn’t work. Can you tell me where I can adjust line height and word wrap????
]]>Hi! Wondering how the ‘Smart Backspacing’can be integrated? As can be seen on the original demo:
https://github.com/mattboldt/typed.js/blob/master/README.md
var typed = new Typed(“.element”, {
strings: [“This is a JavaScript library”, “This is an ES6 module”],
smartBackspace: true // Default value
Hello! First of all, thanks for providing this amazing plugin to the WP community for free. I am loving it! Just wondering, is there any way to prevent the ‘bouncing’ that effects the content below or behind the animated text? If there is a fix for this I’d be super grateful ?? Thanks again and have a great day. Best, Jenny
]]>I have 4 problems:
1) When it types out, the sentence starts indented instead of on the left margin, when the
sentence continues, it wraps and starts on the left margin. How to make it start on the left side always?
2) Is it possible not the do the deletion? I want my phrase typed out and to stay there and not get erased.
3) Is this responsive? I haven’t tried it on my mobile phone, but I see some people have had issues with responsiveness on some devices.
4) I changed the font size, and it shows up ok in the preview, but it doesn’t where I’ve added it to a page using meta-slider Pro
]]>I’m happy it’s here and it works great. But putting it on my revolution slider it doesn’t become responsive on tablets/phones. All the other text is responsive and adjusts, the typed shortcode text stays mini.
What to do about this?
]]>So the script itself is nice, but it hangs browser after a while(less than half minute). Any idea how to solve that?
]]>Hi,
I am trying to make a widget appear 10 seconds after the page loaded. Could this be done with Typed JS plugin in a simple way?
I tried using the php sleep function but that delayed the whole site to load <?php dynamic_sidebar( ‘sidebar-1’ ); ?>…
Thank you for eventual hints!
Hi Great work on this. I would like to know if it is possible to restart the entire animation every time i click a button.
If this is possible can you provide me a code to do this.
]]>I place the code generated in the page I want. Afterwards, I press update and then view post. It shows is working. However, when I exit and load my website, the animation does not appear.
For example: I can see the animation here https://www.mywebsite.ca/slider-view/… but not here https://www.mywebsite.ca/#home which is where it is suppost to show up.
Does anyone have an idea of what I could be doing wrong or is it just my version of WP? Do I have to place the code generated somewhere else instead of the page where I want it?
Thank you.
]]>Hi,
How can I make Typed Js to align center on my site as sown in this shot: https://awesomescreenshot.com/0335us9jff
url: https://kadmos.com.ng/
I’ve tried to use this css snippet to align it center and way from the right but nothing works
.typed_perview_div {
font-size: 50px !important;
text-align: left;
margin-right: 0px;
padding-right: 0px;
color:#fff;
font-family: Open Sans;
font-weight: 500;
}

Hi!
I would like to insert the typed text inline, as part of a headline. But whenever I try to do so, the typed.js-text always jumps to a new line. How would I be able to display the text as part of the same line/paragraph as the normal text?
Here’s a screenshot (I want all the text to be in the same line): https://prnt.sc/atvq8e
And as I’ve said before: Thank you for the plugin.
]]>Is there anyway to make this start typing on hover?
Thanks for the awesome plugin!
]]>Hello,
I tried insert a string such as “Legal & Medical” when I save and the preview inside the editor shows it it will go through all my strings until it comes to an & sign at which point it will stop before displaying the ampersand and throw up a script error.
I also tried &
but when saving, it changes it to the stand & and throws up the error message.

Hello support,
Im getting an error message after making a change to my string:
“Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/tgwebdes/public_html/xxxxxxxxxx/wp-content/plugins/typed/typed.php on line 84
Any ideas? it was working fine a few hours ago.
]]>Hello support,
Everything looks fine on my laptop but when I navigate to my site on my phone, the text is pretty small. Is there a way to fix this? Thanks.
]]>Hi,
thanks for a great plugin. I am having problems with text strings that include commas.
Example: I want to write “Apples, pears, and cheese” as a single string typed out. However, the plugin treats the text as three seperate lines of text (“Apples”,” pears”,” and cheese”).
Could this be a bug?
Cheers.
]]>Dear Developer,
This is a wonderful plugin which does the work exactly as described.
My only little issue is about the font type. In the UI we can change colors and size but no option for font type.Am i missing something there?
Thank you very much
]]>I have the same problem on WP 4.4. It works fine on 4.0 though.
