Hello
I’ve been trying to get a WordPress running with this plugin for a while now. But every time I get a HTTP ERROR 500.
I have now tried with different WP versions. 6.2, 5.0, 4.1, but always the same.
I have also tried PHP in different versions. 5.6, 7.0
The funny thing is that the frontend (currently WP 4.1.6, PHP 7.0, Theme Twenty Thirteen v4.1) works – even the admin toolbar at the top is visible!
But as soon as I want to go to the backend, I get error 500.
Can you give me a tip on how to get this working?
I should port a TYPO3 site (v4.5) with many tt_news posts to WordPress.
Thanks a lot
]]>Hello,
I Tried to import from TYPO3 to my WordPress. It worked for the first items very well.
But then this error occured:
function (){return f&&(c&&!b&&(h=f.length-1,g.push(c)),function d(b){n.each(b,function(b,c){n.isFunction(c)?a.unique&&j.has(c)||f.push(c):c&&c.length&&”string”!==n.type(c)&&d(c)})}(arguments),c&&!b&&i()),this}
It seems that the problem is with the related pictures because the text is always imported. Also if I put the settings to “no related media to import” it works well.
I already put the maximum memory-limit to 600 MB and added the SetEnv MAGICK_THREAD_LIMIT 1 to my htaccess, but still every import with more than one picture failes.
Any suggestions?
Sascha.
]]>Man oh man …
Images wouldn’t get imported I I didn’t know why … I tried half an hour until figured out, that php5-curl wasn’t installed.
Please add php5-curl to the requirements!
]]>hello Michael,

]]>Hi,
thanks for the great work! I wanted to import some entries from a typo3 installation, but I am unable to connect to the database although I have the correct database credentials.
What requirements are needed? Do I need ssh access? Database host should be something like localhost or do I have to insert the ip address from the server?
Thanks in advance!
br,
Marc
Hello all,
now i have a connection, but no datas get imported.
it says “All done. No further news or comment records to import.”
When i setup Debug Mode comes that error Message:
{“error”:”Failed import: isn’t a TYPO3 news record.”}
What could ne wrong?

]]>Hello,
a great tool, but unfortunatly, we are not able to connect to the TYPO3 database (TYPO3 4.5).
The TYPO3 Importer Settings says “Unable to connect to the database”, even the credentials are valid and test with phpmyadmin.
We debugged it, and get the following error message back from “$t3db->print_error();”
WordPress database error for query made by update_option, sanitize_option, apply_filters(‘sanitize_option_t3i_options’), call_user_func_array, T3I_Settings->validate_settings, referer: https://www.mydomain.com/wp-admin/options-general.php?page=t3i-options&settings-updated=true
Do you have any idea on the issue?
Thanks,
Thomas
Hello!
I tried importing my typo3 tt_news and everything worked fine – but my subtitles of the old news are not copied!
Did I forget anything?
Thanks!
Hi,
Great plugin! But we wasted a lot of time, because it didn’t accept the connection to the database. But when we tried then to start importing, it worked! So it must be a problem when checking the database connection. Maybe it’s easy to fix that…
We are working with localhost.
Hi,
first thank you for your plugin! It works fine except the following problem:
My Typo3 database and my WordPress database have UTF-8 encoding. After migration all the UTF-8 characters (German umlauts) are broken – e.g. “k??nnen” instead of “k?nnen”. What can I do to fix this?
Thanks,
Martin
Hi there,
first of all, thank you for the awesome plugin that you’re created!
I wondering is it possible to filtering the data source based on ttnews folder ID?
]]>Hello,
we are using tx_news instead of tt_news, will that work too ?
Best regards, uwe
]]>Hi, I was wondering if it is possible to upload / import a SQL database. Because I do not have access to the server but just the database. Please help! ??
]]>Hi,
When looking at the TYPO3 Importer Settings and in the “TYPO3 Access” tab, I have entered all fields 100% correctly.
Eg:
Database Host: localhost
Database Name: tm_typo
Database Username: tm_typo_usr
Database Password: xxxxxx
And when I click the “Save Changes” button the message “Unable to connect to the database” appears.
Just wondering if anybody has come across this? Or if there are any other settings etc?
]]>hello
First of all please excuse my english skills, I’m not a native speaker.
I want to change the cms for a website from typo3 to wordpress
basically I would like to keep the domain (a very good one) and just change the cms without the chance that this change to affect my PR, this means, that the links structure and the content should remain 100% the same, if you want I can give you the link to the website so you can give me an informed answer
thanks for taking an interest in my problem
I have tried to import posts from my test Typo3 site (Introduction Package). Website URL: https://typo.zbyszrom.waw.pl/. Other Typo3 access setting are as they should be. I have saved changes and begun importing. And… nothing happens:
“TYPO3 Importer
All done. No further news or comment records to import” But my WordPress site is empty!
What have I done wrong?

Hi there, I already sent a message to the builder of this plug-in but so far have had no response and i thought maybe someone here has any suggestions for me.
Im transferring a site from a typo3 enviornment into wordpress. So far this plug-in has been working great importing the tt_news items with attachments and images but it’s not transferring the ‘related posts’. Our database goes back to 2002 and makes much use of this functionality.
I’m positive it should be possible on a technical level to automatically copy the related posts in the same way the attachments and categories get transferred (as i can see from the sql commands in _typo3_api_news_categories() function in typo3-importer.php for example and seeing there is a required table in the typo3 backend called ‘news_related_mm’) but i’m just too inexperienced of a programmer to write this piece of code myself.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Kind regards,
Frank
After I’ve set up everything, I click on the link to start the importing, but it says:
You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.
Hi, am thinking of changing from a Typo3 website to a word press website. Is it possible to transfer all page content images etc from Typo3 to word press easily?
Thanks
Hi There,
I’m exited about this plugin. I am facing one problem though: How can I find the right URL? The Website URL doesn’t work.
Any idea how to identify the right path to the database?
Thanks
