I get this unusual error from PHP:
usort(): Returning bool from comparison function is deprecated, return an integer less than, equal to, or greater than zero
I have included in the link section above a snipboard.io link since I cannot seem to add an image here, but I am wondering if the term ‘deprecated’ next to the notice I’m getting associated with the query, means the *plugin itself* is deprecated or if this is some kind of deprecated function or code for PHP 8.0.9 that is down to changee in that?
In either case, think it is worth mentioning if you are continuing development.
]]>As of WP 5.5 and PHP 7.4, the current plugin version (1.4.5) appears to leave an open PHP session that will interfere with WordPress’ built-in REST API. This can cause problems like tags not saving from the post edit screen, among others. A message will show up in WP Admin ‘Site Health’ page, under the Tools menu.
Obviously I learned this from my own troubleshooting, so take it with a grain of salt. Wanted to post for anyone else having this issue (and possible fix in a future version).

I’m trying to use my Flickr account as a remote media library and have successfully connected it. Unfortunately I cannot see where I can insert anything from Flickr using the WordPress Media Manager (screenshot in link): I have nothing showing for any media other than the images currently present in my WP library.
Any ideas?

]]>How can I use this tool to get images from my dropbox folders into my media library, or into a gallery? Does this tool only work when you are inserting single images into single posts? How do you do batches of images?
]]>I can’t seem to be able to insert a single image without creating a gallery from folder. I’m not sure if I’m missing something or not. I seem to recall that I was able to do it once before but now I can’t. Inserting a gallery isn’t feasible as it doesn’t fit correctly within my post. I just need the image to sit to the side and have the text go around it.

]]>The Media Manager Plus and Importer and extensions no longer work. I can no longer connect the plugin to 500px or Flickr or Instagram or Dropbox.
]]>Have had this plugin since you came out with it and bought most of the addons. The dropbox seems to be the most consistent. This plugin has made things a bazillion times easier.
The only thing I think it’s missing is that it only works on the post editor. Having the ability to use this from anywhere would speed things up so much by using it on featured image, widgets, etc.
There haven’t been many plugins that have done this since there’s no actions or filters for this, but I have seen it done by a few authors with javascript. The problem is though that those plugins are loading their own modals while I think you’d have to override the default one. I tried it myself but had no success ( my javascript knowledge is miserable ).
Anyway, heres one plugin that I know works and yours gets loaded on his also.
I aslo saw someone post here that they got it working awhile back.
Anyway, would love to see this if you could figure it out!
]]>Hi, I’m not sure if I’m unfamiliar with the Media Manager in general, but I can’t seem to find settings for these.
1. When using Media Manager Plus and the Flickr extension, searching by username (using my own), the image sorting seems to show recent images first but in no particular order. It would be great if it showed the image in the order they appear in the Flickr Photostream, and if it was possible to insert them in that order. It would much less painful to insert a bunch of consecutive flickr images to my posts. (I haven’t looked closely at your code, maybe it’s just Flickr feeding you with a weird list)
2. How is the size of the inserted image determined when inserted with flickr? Seems a bit random. I can easily edit the html, but. Is there anyway to change the default formating?

I’m having trouble connecting to my 500px account. When I click on connect a new window pops up asking me to authorize the connection. So I do that and I close the window, and the entire media manager window is greyed out. When I refresh the page, its not connected.
I don’t think that it is a plugin conflict because the same thing happened when I tried it out on your demo site.
Any ideas?

I have tried with no license options and with all options in the settings. I have checked using a personal account, I have checked the flickr privacy settings, nothing restrictive there.

To enqueue media-views or media-editor, call wp_enqueue_media().
Both rely on numerous settings, styles, and templates to operate correctly.Adding wp_enqueue_media(); before registering your script removed the conflict.

Hi,
I am the developer of Leaflet Maps Marker (www.ads-software.com/plugins/leaflet-maps-marker/) and a user has reported an incompatibility with your plugin.
My plugin adds a tinymce editor to my map editor and when your plugin is active, it cant be loaded anymore. The console shows the following
error message: TypeError: wp.media.view.settings.post is undefined
It would be great if you could change your plugin in order to only load your scripts and styles on posts and pages and not on other plugin′s pages.
(I removed uber-media.js for testing purposes on my page and tinymce editor on my map editor page worked again)
FYI: I am using the following code within my plugin to only enqueue my scripts on my plugin pages – perhaps this helps:
