I hope this message finds you well. I am experiencing an issue with the auction plugin on my WordPress site. Despite setting the timezone correctly and ensuring all other fields work properly, the “Ending Date” field does not accept input and turned light purple.
I am using Astra theme.
For troubleshooting I Deactivated all other plugins to check for conflicts, Switched to the default Twenty Twenty-four to see if the issue persists, ensured timezone setting are correct.
Despite these efforts, the “Ending Date” field still does not accept input. Could you please assist me in resolving this issue?

]]>I am not stupid and I have 22 years experience. I bought the product 2 years ago and can.not get variable increments to load. I have tried many many different variations of csv file and now all I get is “invalid file type”. If I down load the sample file an not open it the file will upload. If I open in excel and re-save I receive Invalid file type. Same happens in Google. This has been over 1 week and all the company says is that it works on there test system. This doesn’t help me. I even offered to pay for support but no results or reply. Can someone help? Or recommend a better product with better support?

]]><img src="false" alt="Image">The main image for the auction is not showing up on the auction page or as a thumbnail on the main auctions page (https://pride.swrainbowalliance.org/auctions/) even though it is in WordPress (https://pride.swrainbowalliance.org/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/IMG_2924.jpeg). It does not seem to happen with every image, and I cannot figure out what is different about the ones that do not work.
On the main auctions page I have hidden the broken images via CSS (li.product_single_auction_thumb.prod_img{display:none;}).
Also, if there is only one image the slider arrows still show up. I would assume if there is only one photo the arrows would not be rendered.

]]>I am trying the free version of this plugin, and will upgrade to pro if it works well for us (as we would like more than 4 photos in each auction). However, I am struggling to find support as all links seem to end up referring to the WooCommerce version of the plugin, even on your own website https://auctionplugin.net/
Am I missing something?
The issues I have are:
- It is not forcing users to login to bid (we have “Allow users to bid only if logged in” selected.
- The auctions url only shows bids, and current price when a user is logged in
- When I am not logged in, I can access an auction, fill in my name, email and bid amount, but when I press bid, the screen darkens and I get the spinning wheel. I assume that it should not let me enter a bid and display a message asking if I’d like to login/register?
FYI, we use Elementor theme (just in case you are aware of any known issues when integrating your plugin with Elementor).

]]>Hi! Me again, testing your plugin further. I am looking to get some answers about specific functionality I would like from this plugin and I would appreciate your expertise. I am also looking to confirm which features are only available in the Free or the Pro version of the plugin.
- I saw that masking the bidder name is possible in the Pro version, is it possible in the Free? Is the bidder name masked even if they bid without an account using the email option? In the Pro version, masking the bidder is possible for just a simple auction (not proxy or reverse)?
- When I tested winning an auction, as the winner I received an email notifying me of my win and on the auction page a modal appeared to tell me that I had won the auction. But once the modal was dismissed, the page itself did not tell me anything about what to do next. Is it possible to offer the winner a Pay Now button/link or could we add some instructions to a “won auction” page to let the user know to look for the email with the link to pay? I want to ensure that the winner is not confused about what to do next after they have won.
- In the notification emails I received about bidding on my test auction, the auction description was included but all line breaks had been removed, which did not look very nice. Is there a specific HTML we need to use to ensure the line breaks are carried over from the auction page to the email copy of the item description?

Does this mean the auctions can only be used by people who create an account with the site? Or is there a way to allow people to bid without having to create a WordPress account with the site?

We recently had a client running two live auctions and the site crashed, causing major issues for their customers and contract vendors. Updating the bid increment server call to 15 seconds from 5 seconds helped and we increased the server’s compute power to 8gb RAM with 4 cores. Are there other measures we should be employing to ensure that this does not crash the client’s website again?
