So the problem is that the ultimate author box plugin is adding 2 extra empty paragraphs in-between each element of my content throughout the post… see what I am talking about: https://i.imgur.com/qr78KbU.jpg
I really like the plugin and I would love to continue using it but I can’t use it like this since it ruins the look of the page so please share any possible solutions that you may have. Here is some extra info in case you find it helpful…
I am running on WP 5.7, theme Poseidon, I have written some additional CSS inside your plugin but it’s mostly about colors. The problem was not there a month ago but I’ve been doing some things here and there of which a major one is the 5.7 update and I didn’t really notice if this problem was there before the update or if it appeared after the update but if you can’t find a possible solution I could roll back to a backup I have from before the update (I would prefer not to since it would be a huge process and take a lot of time and effort to re-do everything I did since then)
I will keep it active so you can visit the page for as long as I am updating it, if there is no response by the time I’m ready to go live, I will deactivate the plugin. You can open any of the posts on the provided link to see the problem firsthand.

After I installed this plugin I lost most of icon by Font Awesome icons. In particular, Microphone-alt icon is stopped showing on website. When I deactivate this plugin then icon show up normally.

Verified that this behavior happens with a clean install of WordPress 5.3.2 on php 7.2 and php 7.3.5. Disabled all other plugins.

Some time ago, you couldn’t clic the user name (nothing used to happen) but nowdays, when you clic the user name, a new blank windows is opened. It uses the javascript:void(0) function.

I still have problems displaying Font Awesome icons (v5) when your plugin is active. I tried this fix (https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/font-awesome-conflicts/) but it broke my website, so I restored it.
Is there any fix for this? It displays several icons with a different color than specified + some of them are a ? in a flashing circle.

At about line 65, you will find the code

Replace it with

I am receiving this fatal error when I try to utilize the plug-in to display an author box.
If I enable the setting “Hide Author Box if Author Biographical Info is empty” no author box is displayed at all and the fatal error is not thrown. However, the author’s bio box (tested with multiple authors) is not empty so it shouldn’t be hiding the box.

I wanted to display a video in the author’s description. I use the shortcode [video….] to show the embedded video player.
The UAB video is working fine when displaying the box for posts. I can see and play the video. However, showing the same box in a simple page, the video does not play. The shortcode is not evaluated anymore. I see the shortcode [video…¨] in my browser.

My theme uses font awesome v5 but a couple of the plugins still use v4.7 like: Super Forms

This has not caused any issues.
If I install and activate v1.6 UAB plugin, it interferes / overrides the other plugins that use v4.7 and is causing blinking circles with a question mark (?) in the middle.
Is it possible to stop UAB from interfering with other plugins that use font awesome 4.7?
I know you told someone else to go back and use v1.4, but surely that isn’t the solution is it? We can’t continue to use v1.4 forever?

I’m trying to use do_shortcode and the short code for an ultimate author box to place an author box at the top of my author page, but when I do this, the author’s picture does not show up. It shows up just fine in the typical usage at the end of a post. What am I doing wrong here? Is there a better way to use an author box at the top of an author page? I’m building my own author.php to accomplish this.

This broke the social media icons in the blog page as the icons for facebook, etc do not appear anymore (a spinning circle instead).

]]>I think it is not required to display the author’s name for each post of the recent post tab.
We know that we are displaying the recent posts of one particular author, so his name is not required. I would keep the date however.

I want to have a team/group page where I want to show, via the author boxes, all the members of my team. So I tried the shortcode. This works for the first user, but the second user is not working anymore. It seems to display my admin user (ID 1).
Is this a bug ? Could this be a feature request to be able to display several author boxes on one page ?

Okay so I’m having some issues with adding content to the wysiwyg tabs in author box lite. I was trying to add visual composer code into the editor, like I would with the wordpress default editor and it isn’t showing up correctly at all.
This is what it’s supposed to look like this is the original visual composer code on a page – https://dev.pmuworldwide.com/guides/template-short-logo/
Then as you can seen on the same page – the author box contains the same code but it isn’t showing correctly.
Now I paste the code in plain text into the ‘Source’ toggled area in the editor, but then after I’ve saved again it strips some of the code from within the editor and put <p> tags around everything. So it doesn’t then display properly at all.
Can you advise?
