I purchased a paid add-on, but I want to cancel my subscription because it is not updated and I don’t use it.

However, there is no cancel function on the site and I cannot cancel my subscription.

I contacted the company, but there is no reply, and the money is deducted every year.

It is a hellish situation.

Hi ~ I’m having problems with the Ultimate Member User Profile shortcode, and was told to post here. With Ultimate Member, you are supposed to enter a shortcode for every page {i.e., Profile, Registration, etc.}. However, the one for the Profile page ~ [ultimatemember form_id=”702″], doesn’t work. If you can see the page, you can see that the Profile page only has the actual shortcode on it, not the profile form. Is this shortcode outdated? Does anyone have a current shortcode, or any other fix for this problem? Thank you

I’m in the process of testing this on a subsite that’s part of a WordPress multisite network. The main site of the multisite has BuddyPress activated locally. This subsite doesn’t have BP activated. I use Paid Membership Pro to handle memberships on both the main & subsites. I’m in the process of renaming memberships & roles. What I notice is that roles created using User Role Editor don’t appear in the Ultra Community > User Role Settings. I see all of the new roles in Paid Membership Pro but only one (1) of the roles in UC. I use WPMU DEV for hosting and have gone thru the procedures to confirm & clear cache to no avail as I’m still not seeing the new roles in UC. What am I missing?

This morning, my site was dead. No auto-updates are active.

Managed to log in to rescue-mode in WordPress and see that UltraCommunity is the cause.

An error of type E_COMPILE_ERROR occured on row in the following file: ____omitted____\wp-content\plugins\ultra-community\engine\PostsType\MembersDirectoryPostType.php. Error reason: Namespace declaration statement has to be the very first statement or after any declare call in the script

Any suggestions? Any known conflicts?

I am noticing thousands of rows of data for users being placed into the wp_options table. This data is autoloaded. This seems to be something fairly new, within the last 6mo or so.

I see the “option_name” is listed as “uc-userrole-cpt-84706-settings”.

The digits change depending on the user. Is this something we can have you folks take a look at?

I am having some issues when logging in my website where I use Ultra Community. I type username and password but it doesn’t log in. Same happens with my users. In order to do so successfully I need to uninstall and remove LiteSpeed Cache plugin. Is that a common issue? Am I missing something?

Does this plugin support friending and followers? I cannot tell based on the description. For a friend, a user can request friend, but the requestee can accept or deny it. For a follower, they follow a user without needing it to be accepted, and the content they can see as a friend or follower, may be restricted.

Is any of this possible?

I think Ultra Community conflict with the Dice theme and I don’t know what to do. With activated UC Dice theme don’t show the header on UC-pages, and the footer on the content.

I created a group and added a bunch of dummy accounts for testing it.

I deleted the users via the WordPress Dashboard “Users” section and the group is still displaying “5” members instead of the 2 that only belong to it now.

It’s displaying the wrong count when I click “Manage Groups” from the “Group Settings” panel content of my profile. – /member/settings/my-groups/user/

It’s also displaying the wrong count on the Groups Directory Listing page.

Let me know if you need anymore info to resolve this.

Ultra Community shows roles duplicated – it is displaying over 30 of EACH role. For example, Administrator is displayed over 30 times. Same is true for each role. I deactivated and reactivated, but it didn’t work. I don’t want to uninstall, because i don’t want to loose all my data.

Do you have documentation on available hooks for customization? For example, I would like to add a social network to the profile that is not included with the plugin. What hook do I need to add to functions.php do do this?

While looking at how to translate your plugin to Swedish, I stumbled about a very bad construction that you currently have in trunk:
'display' => __('Every ' . $mchTask->getRunningInterval() . ' seconds'));

• This construction is incorrect. When the value of $mchTask->getRunningInterval() is injected into the string, you won’t get any hit in the translation file anymore. You’ve also forgotten to include the text-domain parameter, which should be equal to your plugin slug (‘ultra-community’).
• You can’t take for granted that other languages use exactly the same structure as English.
• Also: You should avoid having strings that begin or end with spaces. In our translation platform, these spaces are almost impossible to see. But also: If you feel an urge to have strings that begin or end with spaces, that’s a clear signal that you’re doing something wrong.

In this case, you should:
1. Offer this as ONE string, using printf() and a placeable. The string you give for translation would become 'Every %d second'/'Every %d seconds'
2. Actually, in this case you should even use _n() so that the interval value can steer the format of the string.

So we end up with something like:
sprintf( _n('Every %d second', 'Every %d seconds', $number, 'ultra-community'), $number );
Note that you need to use $number twice. The first occurrence steers which version of the phrase should be used. In Russian, for instance, each _n() is translated into three versions. The “singular” translation is then used for 1, 21, 31, etc; the “dual” translation is used for 2, 3, 4, 22, 23, 24, 33, etc; and the “plural” version is used for 5-20, 25-30, etc. The second occurrence is what gets injected into the phrase instead of %d. Typically, they should of course always be the same.

Can you make it possible for users to PM users when on that users profile?

Your Minimum Length field in Field Settings has no effect.
If I set Minimum Length for Password as 5, the registration completes successfully with less than 5.
The same applies to your Maximum Length.

A few other oddities I ran into, these could be bugs or something on my end I need to work out…

• Only the default profile photo is being displayed for profiles, even though some of our users have custom profile photos in their wp profile.
• When selecting the pagination option for the /users section, pagination links appear as “https://domain/userspage/12″ etc. I placed a dash in-between users and page (/users-page/) in my browser and it then renders properly.
• When you load a page for a /member/john-smith for example. In the browser tab it does not say John Smith, instead it says “User Profile Page” which is the title of the page the profiles are displayed on. Having that say the user’s name instead would be great!
• I notice on my /member/posts/john-smith page, my posts are laid out which look great. However, some of them are not displaying a photo, instead, they display the default image from this plugin (how to change that as well?). I checked the code that displays the photos in my posts and do not see any consistency as to why some show and why some do not. I will say I am not using Featured Images and should probably do that.

Is there an ability to restrict the member and profile pages to just logged in users? I do not want non-logged in users to be able to read the profiles of our members.

I did just find the ability to hide certain form fields within a profile.

If there was an ability to hide menu items based on logged in logged out, that would be fantastic.

After using and testing countless plugins, I found a setup that worked. Then I found this, and the cleanliness is so nice that I’m migrating everything to this now.

One issue I’m having though, is that the sidebar is not rendering on pages using this plugin? Please see my link as it’s doing rather weird things. Like adding a custom UC sidebar set to display: none…

Hi team, I have some issues about how to make work some things in the custom fields.

First I want to make a Checkbox field in the register form when the new user need to check confirming he accept the Site’s Terms and Conditions. I make this:
