I would like to verify if Unfiltered MU is compatible with PHP 8.2. ?If not, do you have a timeframe when the plugin will be tested and released with 8.2 compatibility?
Hi All,
I am running WP version 5.9.1 and this plugin is no longer working. Is there something that has changed? I tried to deactivate and reactivate but it is not working.
Please help!
-Thanks!
I have read the plugin description.
What makes the plugin dangerous?
Can a registered user (an admin of a subdomain registered on my network) take over other subdomains or the entire network, or did I misunderstand something?
What is it exactly that I allow with this plugin?
All I want to do, is to give my users the ability to add SVG Shape Dividers inside their Gutenberg Blocks, but this is not possible because of wordpress core restricition. Someone told me this plugin will make it possible.
But at the same time. I don’t want to add a possibility to let someone wreck the entire network.
Any help appreciated.

If I want to remove this plugin from my site, is there a way to check if the plugin is used at all?
I obviously don’t want to open the posts and pages one at a time to see if anything is broken after removing the plugin. So is there a smarter way?
If I want to remove this plugin from my site, is there a way to check if the plugin is used at all?

So this hasn’t been updated in nearly 4 years and I just came across it on a site.
Curious if anyone has an opinion on it or suggestion for something similar in functionality (ie. note a short code solution)
Note: I’m already thinking I’m just going to adjust TinyMCE’s init filter, however before going down that path I thought I’d ask here…
Hi, it seems like the plugin removes the -tag, even after uninstalling the plugin. Now, I can’t add any script because it gets deleted. Could it be true? Please help me!
Thanks in advance, regards!
Hi,
I have a network site and have a custom role, “supereditor.” I would like this custom role to have the unfiltered_html
capability. I’ll install this plugin in the mu-plugins directory. What do I need to modify in the plugin if I intend to make this a network-wide change? I found this block of code which relates to this but don’t see where it’s picking up the standard admin and editor roles to modify them.

Hi – when I try to activate this on one particular blog in our Multi-Site install, this is the error I get:
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare um_kses_init() (previously declared in C:\wamp\www\wp-content\mu-plugins\unfiltered-mu.php:28) in C:\wamp\www\wp-content\plugins\unfiltered-mu\unfiltered-mu.php on line 30
Not sure if this is just an incompatibility with WP 3.0.1 – we haven’t yet upgraded for a variety of reasons, so that could be the problem. Thanks in advance for the help.
I see previous thread having difficulty with this too… wondering if it’s the same issue?
Hello,
This plugin is really helpful for me and my customers.
I run a managed WordPress network. I create administrators myself and then they can create editors, etc.
I wish to know in this case, can the plugin be used for any harmful activity?
I create the main admins for each hosted blog. But am sure they would be giving access to others as well who can cause the harm. But if I modify the plugin to only allow the filter for administrators and not editors, and then if I ask my clients to not create any administrator account, will that be helpful?
Hi Donccha, MDA & honourable Automattic ??
Looking for a way to import posts from another bloggin system (typepad in this case) without having to re-edit every single one where all kinds of embeds are stripped out during the import process, I came across Unfiltered MU.
Now I do not plan to keep this plugin active for long because of security reasons but would it actually help during import? I mean, would it prevent filtering of post content during the process when assigning the imported posts to the site admin?
Or do I need to look further? ( If so, any suggestions would be much appreciated ?? )
Thanks!
Has anybody been able to get Unfiltered-MU to work with WordPress 3.0? I need to have a way to let Editors post unrestricted code. Please don’t respond with “that is not recommended”, etc. I have read extensively on this topic, and while I would personally prefer to not open it up, I work in a K-12 environment where one of the things teachers love most about WordPress is the ability to easily embed widgets from other sites (usually too obscure for anyone to have bothered writing a plugin to solve). We have run Unfiltered for a year and half with no problems and I’m willing to address any problems that arise on a per-instance occurance.
Thank You for any assistance!
