I would love to use your plugin, but it’s currently listed as not compatible with WordPress version 6.6.2. Will it be possible for you all to update the plugin so that I could use the plugin. Typically I don’t use any plugins that aren’t up-to-date with the latest version of WordPress for security purposes.

I have a CPT list and if I click to filtering button after butons All, My, Published… on top of post list I get error message Invalid content type. At Pages list this button working fine. Is there a way how can I filter CPTs? Thank you very much.

Hi. I just noticed that two sites I work on are displaying unlisted posts/pages within WordPress website search results. I tried this on incognito windows, too. Both these sites use the Relevansii plugin to expand search results to custom post types. Do you know if there is a conflict between this plugin and Relevansii? If so, is there a fix?

I installed the plugin, but when I go to the page I want to unlist, there is no option there to select. I note on your youtube video you are using Guttenberg. Does it only work with that editor? Thank you.

I have almost 1000 unlisted articles and for organization purposes and just overall for my site I would like to “relist” them. Is it possible to bulk unlist the articles without just disableing the plugin?

Can you please add a hook (apply_filters) on class-unlist-posts.php to allow us to choose if the post should be indexed or not?

Something in the condition on line 198 or even before the filter is added on line 65?

Or is there any other way to allow indexing for unlisted posts?

How does Unlist Posts and Pages store whether a page/post should be unlisted or not?

I am working on a real estate website that uses the Houzez theme and WP All Import to populate properties on the site from a XML feed.

To give you some context to the problem I have, properties on the website marked as Private aren’t listed on the website which is great. However, it means the url for the hidden page also can’t be viewed by someone if we send them a link to that private listed property.

Does Unlist Posts and Pages store whether a post is unlisted or not in the postmeta table? If so, what is the name of the meta_key? This would mean I can set the custom field value on import based on whether a post of private or not.

Is it possible to BULK change the status of many posts to become unlisted? I have hundreds of posts in a category that should no longer be published, so would like to quickly change all those posts to be unlisted.

Unlist doesn’t seem to be working with WP Search (the unlisted posts are still coming up).

I see the limitations:
LIMITATIONS OF THE PLUGIN
WP_Query has an a flag to ‘Suppress’ the filters. If any plugin is using this flag when querying the posts then the unlisted post will not be hidden in that plugin’s output.
Similarly if any plugin is using a custom MySQL query, then the unlisted posts will not be hidden from it’s output.

Is this plugin compatible with SearchWP? Which search plugins does Unlist work well with?

I have “unlisted” many posts but they are all still showing in the module at the bottom of my blogs ‘Related.’ How do I prevent them from showing up under ‘Related’?

noindex, nofollow shows in meta when i unlists the posts. Is there any hook or some solution i can remove nofollow and noindex from meta tag . And when i active yoast seo or discourage from search engine the nofollow , noindex should come again.

Hello! So far I have been using your great plugin with no problem to hide Learnpress courses. But suddenly (I guess after a update) the functionality simply stopped working on the page where the courses are listed. It does work on the rest of the site. I tried on two different sites and clean installs (just WordPress, Learnpress and their plugin) and it doesn’t work either. At first it looks like it’s going to load only the courses I didn’t hide, but eventually it shows them all.
The same goes for Learnpress and other plugins to hide posts, only on that page.
Do you have any reference on this inconvenience?

We really need your help ASAP. We’re using this plugin for our WP. We’re using WP as a handless CMS. When we check unlist post option from our post its giving us and publish it on frontend of the website it giving us404 error. We did little bit more digging and find out the post is shows on site(backens), but it removes the post from our wp-json.

Hello, the plugin works perfectly with products. What I would love would be to be able to exclude products in bulk from the “quick edit” option, that way I wouldn’t have to enter all the products one by one.

Is this possible? Please, I would appreciate if you could integrate that option.

A plugin works fine. However in one case i am using the acf plugin and the post object relation between two custom post types. Then, on one of them i display the second one, so related ones. In this case posts are shown and i am looking is there a way to somehow hide them. Is there a way via preget posts in full, or some other method, filter, or a hook, or a variable which plugin is using, so maybe with query arg or an if statement i might overide that?

Is there a code snippet to unlist an entire CPT?

I have tried your plugin and it helped me achieve 90% of my goal. I am only stuck in a situation, where I want to make the posts appear in CATEGORY ARCHIVES. For instance I want to hide or unlist the post from everywhere else, except for Google Search and Category Archives.

For making the post appear in Google Search, we can remove the section of code from plugin to achieve it. But I am not able to figure how to make posts only appear inside the category of that post.

Very nice, simple plugin, that works – many thanks.

One issue I’ve found: ordinarily it seems to operate correctly on the Previous Post, Next Post Links when viewing posts, BUT, unlisted posts DO seem to appear as previous/next post links IFF one is already viewing an unlisted post!

ie: if several unlisted posts are next to each other in the timeline, then they will each appear as previous/next links. Far from desirable.

Any chance this could be fixed?

Hi there, love the plugin! Was wondering if there is an easy way to edit permissions to deny the feature for certain users? For example, if you have a role for guest contributors, and you don’t want them to be able to unlist posts, only admins, how can we do that?

I want to prevent some posts from being indexed by search engines – but still allow the posts to be found by using the local search facility on the website. The logic being that the search facility is only accessible to signed in members.
Is this possible using the unlist posts and pages plugin?

Hello, I was using this plugin with LearnDash to unlist some courses but in meanwhile that option dissappeared from courses pages. I had some courses unlisted and I don’t even can change those who were already using the plugin. I have no idea what happened.

First I thought it might be an incompatible plugin, because I’m building my website and had to install some plugins and it’s the only change I made between this plugin is working and not. But I have disabled all that plugins to try and it’s not working anyway
