This is good alternative to payment gateway. You may also use this plugin by installing a thank you page plugin for woocommerce and in thank you page again take email. Thus you may manually verify whether the person who has reached thank you page after payment is the same email that entered email while registering in the beginning. As there are very less number of persons who would reach to thank you page without making payment through QR code by psychology.

Nice app. Takes some getting used to. Since it’s not a payment getway, but a upi qrcode generator – order confirmation needs to be verified from other sources. Still, it does it’s job for a moerately busy e-commerce site.

You need a Merchant UPI account if you want to enable “show payment button” option. QR Code works regardless if you have merchant or consumer UPI

I’m really frustrated with this UPI plugin. It works fine when customers scan a QR code to pay. But, when customers try to pay on their mobiles using apps like Google Pay, Paytm, or banking apps, they always get an annoying “Payment Failed – Payment Limit Exceeded” error. It’s not the customer’s fault, and it’s not the bank’s fault. It’s a problem with this plugin.
This isn’t just happening once or twice; it’s happened to more than five customers who’ve tried to pay with UPI apps on their phones. What’s even more frustrating is that if they try a regular payment with their UPI ID or a QR code, it works just fine. The problem is with this plugin, and it’s really getting on my nerves.

I found this direct payment collection plugin for my e-commerce website. And by far it is practically the best for smaller or new website having few transactions per day. Simple amount transfer directly to bank account using UPI code. And because this free and no charges for transactions too, little work is required by shop manager to confirm the payment receipt manually.
