There should be an option to not delete thumbnails of images which are in posts. Example: MyImage123.jpg is in a post, so it will not show up on the list of files to be deleted, but MyImage123-80×120.jpg is the thumbnail of that image which displays in the wordpress media library page. It does not appear in the content of any post, but I don’t want it deleted because my media library page is full of broken images.
]]>Waited for an hour, it just stopped. Nothing working.
]]>Hi, I used this plug-in a long time ago and it worked great (I forget what version I was on at that time). Now I’m on 3.0.2 and when I begin the search for unused files, I see the progress bar and then I’m redirected to an admin page with nothing on it that loads indefinitely until I get a 500 Internal Server Error.
Not sure what the issue is, just wanted to see if others were having this problem or if there’s a fix.
Thanks
]]>Piece of junk! deleted most of the images from my posts. Beware
]]>there seems to be a bug in that this plugin wants to delete images that are part of gallery … in other words, if i have a post with five images that are part of the gallery but not individually included in the post, then Janitor will delete the gallery images – which is a real bummer … i’m using Justin Tadlock’s Cleaner Gallery 0.7 with WordPress 3.0 and it bombed … i also tried with upgrades to Cleaner Gallery 0.8 and WordPress 3.1 and had same result … otherwise, pretty cool program … but NOT if YOU USE [gallery] :>0 cs
