Since this hasn’t been updated in forever, some modifications are needed to enable the plugin due to version checking. debug.log will show:

How to fix: WordPress post edit area – white text white background
You can actually select the white paragraph text to highlight it, and copy-paste it in a text editor, and fix the content or links – then paste it back. Just a quick, and live fix where WP’s displays white text?on?white?background.

Tested this plugin on a local installation of WP 4.9.4 using the Twenty Seventeen theme but could not get it to work.
Installed plugin, refreshed site and launched the Chrome inspector. Searched “jquery” and found where jquery is being loaded from the wp-includes folder.
Thanks for writing the plugin! If I’m able to get this plugin to work, I’ll come back and update my review.

When they say it’s compatible up to 4.1.13 they really aren’t kidding. If you version of WordPress is higher than 4.2 this plugin actually just returns and executes no code with no warnings or anything. Can check out line 229 of use-google-libraries.php in the plugin for reference. I don’t know anyone who keeps their site up to date is still using this…conceptually great, but needs a lot more maintenance.

I just installed this plugin (found the link via WP Super Cache), and it along made my site almost 3x faster! Before I installed it, my site loaded in about 14 seconds, not it takes only 5 seconds to load.
And I don’t use cache plugin yet! Still need to set it up, of course. I just use one plugin to minify CSS and JS and another one for database optimization.
But this plugin fetching scripts from Google servers helped me better than anything! Totally worth to install, should be one of the first you install on your site.

I either get “Another plugin has registered or enqued a script before the “init” action. Attempting to work around it.”, or “Not yet qualified with this version of WordPress. Bypassing UGL.”
I can suppress second one by replacing WP version in the code but not the first one. I give up.

I’ve never heard of this plugin or anything like it. I actually found it by accident as I was looking into a completely unrelated issue. But I tried it out and it made a huge difference!
My site’s load time on Pingdom (before: 2.93s and after: 2.02s). A 31% decrease in load time!
I got bumped up a couple of points on PageSpeed Insights for both mobile and desktop.
It’s great to be able to take a minute to install a plugin that makes such a huge difference in site performance! I’ll be adding this to all my sites!

I’ve been using this plugin for a while but today I ran a speed test using Google and noticed that my score increased from 79/100 to 83/100 when I deactivated it.
After deactivating, a new “passed rule” showed up in the results:
– Reduce server response time.
So I’m a bit confused. Please advise and thank you for your help!

When i click on the wordpress back end Text editor (Text Mode & View Mode—> Where we can put the content) Text mode is not working & also the content is not showing in the text editor section , after a few seaches i found this plugin in the forum and the Text Editor works perfectly..

I can’t believe how well this plugin worked for my site – it brought my page load time down from around 8 seconds to 4! For something that takes less than a minute to install, and requires no configure, that’s pretty darn good.

Few hours back, i noticed an update in ‘Plugin section’.. i figured its just some unimportant plugin update, BUT, when i realized it was ”USE GOOGLE LIBRARIES” i was so hapi ??
fwi, i scored 100/100 now on ‘pingdom’ in speed test, 88/100 on google, usually i had 86/100 on pingdom, and on google 81/100.
