Hi Adam,
Would it be possible to get an update of User Admin Simplifier so that Wordfence does not warn about the plugin being abandoned?
Thanks in advance ??
]]>Hi Adam,
Just wondering what the details of 1.0 are? I don’t see any notes with it.
Thanks
Melissa

I can only see customer accounts in the dropdown list. I cannot see Shop Managers or Admin which are the ones I want to modify

]]>Hello, some previous administrator installed this and hide plugins menu among others. Also settings and tools are hidden too.
How to disable the plugin or restore full access for admin users?
Love this plugin but not been updated for two years? Reaching the point where it will have to be replaced for security.
Any chance of an update?
]]>I am using this with WordPress 4.9.5. It works well. There are just a couple of plugins that won’t show/hide. They are in the list but not doing what they are told ??
WP Bakery Page Builder. Main entry still shows but items below it are hidden. So this is more annoying than anything else.
Monster Insights. It won’t show even though it is supposed to. I think I will replace it with some other plugin.
]]>I’m running WordPress 4.9.5 and 0.7.1 of your plugin. When choosing a user from the list, I see multiple users with either the same username or first name. I can’t tell which user is the correct one I want to target because of this. As a result I have to edit a user, go check to see if I edited the right one, than come and undo the change if not and then repeat the process until I find the right one. Is there a way to tell the users apart otherwise to save time? See https://pasteboard.co/Hlcdryw.png
Thank you.
]]>Hi dear thanks for this great plugin. This the exactly what I needs, but unfortunately it is missing three options Themes, Widgets & Menus under Disable admin bar menus/submenus: heading. Please provide filter for these three options also.
]]>Hello!
I love your plugin and it is almost exactly what I am looking for. I would LOVE if it supported user roles as well. Would you be interested in putting the plugin on GitHub? I would love to help integrate that feature! I have been doing private WordPress work for about 3 years now and would love to start doing some projects in the community!
I was thinking possibly a tab for users and a tab for roles, so that the user can still restrict individual users. Also, possibly the capability to choose which has priority, user or role rules.
Let me know what you think!
Thank you,
Josh
Hello,
i have installed your plugin but it′s not working.
Can select what i want, the user has admin role, but nothing happens when i disable some menus.
Bst plugin ever, seriously.
But it sohuld support roles apart from users.
Imagine a web with many users, or a web where shop admins can add their employes.
]]>I’ve installed you plugin here but no matter what box I check. After I click “Save Changes” button all the box are unchecked.
Any suggestions? Thanks.
]]>Hello,
I’m trying your plugin and I’d like to hide every menu item but Posts, Pages, Media nd Comments.
I have ticked every other item for the right user (author privileges) and when I log in with his account, Pages is hidden whereas it is not ticked for disabling.
Same issue occurs with some other menu item, such as the Flamingo plugin but it is less important than Pages, to me.
I’m using the latest version of your plugin with the latest version of WordPress (4.2.2).
Other plugins are:
Do you know what’s going on?
Thank you.

Hello, Adam.
Thanks. Great plugin. Simple and good. It couldn′t be better.
Please, any chance to have the user admin set by function (author, colaborator, etc) and not by specific user so that I can have all future new authors with the same simple admin/dashboard without having to set it user by user?
Many thanks, Gandhi ji and bons ventos!
]]>Plug-in, you have let me comfortably used.
Is a question.
Not only hidden items for each user, or you will not plan to implement also the name change of the item?
]]>Using the twentytwelve theme. Selecting submenu “Appearance – Customize” does not hide Customize. Customize is only hidden if the main menu “Appearance” is selected ie hiding everything in Appearance.
]]>Hi,
I installed the plugin normally but when I select the menus to disable, and do save, the page updates and the menus are not disabled.
Thanks!

]]>Hi I’m running Twenty Twelve theme, single site setup. I have the “IFrame popup” plugin. For a particular user (they have editor permission), I want to hide everything in the Settings menu except for the IFrame popup settings. So I have the main settings box un-ticked, but all the sub-menu boxes ticked except for IFrame popup. But when the user logs in, the entire settings menu is hidden. Can you help? I can provide screenshots if required. Thanks.
]]>Hi, just checking to see if you have an Update in the works to work with WordPress 3.9 and above???
]]>It would be great if we could select and remove the menu items on the Toolbar at the top of WordPress.
]]>I’ve used this plugin in the past and it’s great. I went to install it on a website that is running the latest version of wordpress and it halts during install to a blank page, then in another tab i try to access the plugins page and it’s blank.
i have to delete the plugin to see the plugins page again. it doesn’t install.
Issue maybe with this version 3.8.1?
]]>Thanks for excellent plugin. Just one comment: I noticed that the plugin does not affect the top bar. For example – I was disable user management for users XX, in the sidebar-menu is everything OK. But he still can to add new users using the top bar.
]]>Hi
Could you please share the fix for the Appearance menu (and sub menus) not being shown, as per this support post 11 months ago…

My recent patch corrects this bug. for some reason Appearance->Editor does not show up at the point the the admin_head ran, instead i had to switch to the admin_init hook;
in any case, that fixed your issue, give it a try.

Many thanks in advance.
Hey there,
Great plugin! Just one problem. The list item selected class in the CSS conflicts with another plugin of mine giving a looping minus sign in the admin. Is there a way to change this without affecting updates too much?
]]>Hi Adam,
I am not being able to hide taxonomies submenus, e.g., when I try to hide ONLY the “Categories” submenu, under “Posts” menu, it does not work.
How can it be fixed?
Thanks in advance,
