PHP Warning: Missing argument 2 for wpdb::prepare(), called in \wp-content\plugins\user-messages\model\NotificationDAO.php on line 25 and defined in \wp-includes\wp-db.php on line 992
Please remove the prepare()
function if you don’t need any replacements. The function will do nothing. It will just emit tons of these warnings.
An update of this plugin will also make it searchable again.
]]>I’ve just find this plugin, and I’m really interested in the paid version, but the link to plugin homepage is broken. Please tell me where I can find more info on the paid version and possibly buy it.
Thanks
]]>Hi,
I purchased the plugin “user messages”. First of all I like to say that this plugin solves an issue brought up by one of the users of my website. It is a great plugin!
Because the website is in Dutch I translated the content. Unfortunately some text cannot be translated. I cannot find the next sentences at all. For the record… I used poedit for the translation.
– Send a copy of the emails you send to your personal mail address.
– Accept to receive private emails (your address remains hidden).
– Accept to receive public emails (your address remains hidden).
– Pending e-mails.
Can you please let me know how to translate the sentences mentioned above?
Kind regards,
Marco
Hello,
The following error is thrown during cron runs:
Warning: Missing argument 2 for wpdb::prepare(), called in /site/wp-content/plugins/user-messages/model/MailDAO.php on line 38 and defined in /site/wp-includes/wp-db.php on line 990.
It occurs when someone sends a private message to another user on the site.
Starting from WordPress 3.5.x the prepare()
method requires second argument, even as an empty array.
Please release an update to the plugin to make it fully compatible with WP 3.5.x.
Thank you.
]]>Hi,
My company is building a website for Classified Ads and is looking to also include total anonymity of members and add anonymous private messaging between registered users. We want to be able to approve the messages as an admin, but for the users to message each other within the website, not by email. Can User Messages support these functionalities? How could they be implemented?
Thank you for your consideration.
Hello.
The attachment feature is not announced in the free or commercial version. It is something planned ? If so, any idea when it would come out ?
Thanks.
You write “Since version 2.0.0, the plugin has become a commercial plugin.” That means that in the “Changes” and for the screenshots here on the www.ads-software.com you present a commercial plugin.
Is it a mistake, or has WordPress changed its policy?
some interesting formatting on the inbox screen (was the same on 3.3 – 3.0, but otherwise it works like a charm.
Can’t really fill in the assessment box on the plugin pages, as that refers to the free version. It was only $5, as I recall.
]]>there nothing in free version …
should i have to purchase ???
Instead of Cyrillic letters shows question marks ??????? How to change encoding?
]]>Read the description [of the plugin]. Why are plugins not being removed like this and why is everyone wasting their time with this stuff.
WP has got to do a better job monitoring what people are submitting to these forums, at the very least the title should be amended with some keyword in brackets to let people know that the plugin is not, and will not, be actively developed any further.
That he comes up first in search results over other plugins doing the same job just means he’s getting free advertising here. Let’s fix that.
And mods, don’t make posts criticizing my post, just move on if there’s nothing you can do.
]]>I’m using the paid version of this plugin and so far I’m very happy to use it!
There’s one problem though: I can’t delete any messages by using the checkbox and press ‘Delete’. I get ‘The message with ID 0 does not exist’. I only can delete messages by opening and deleting one by one.
Any suggestions/solutions for this problem?
Thanks

Edit: I just found out I can’t mark messages (as read or as unread) either.
]]>Too bad this doesn’t work in 3.3.1
Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.
]]>I’m looking to see if it’s possible to add a button to the author.php file in my template so users just have to click it and they will directed to a new message with the authors name already in the ‘to’ area.
I haven’t installed this plugin just yet.
None of the menus that are visible in the plugin screenshots, actually show up on the admin area. I installed the Capability Manager plugin as this plugin’s documentation suggested, but I did not see any “Send Messages” capability added there either. I’m guessing that this plugin has not been updated for WP 3.0 or later. A shame, because it would have been really useful, and now I have to find an alternative.
]]>this guy is not giving demo. this plug in only for purchase person.
firstly I need your demo then I shall purchased buddy.
