I have the same problem as here https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/not-allowed-access-2/
Everything was working fine, but after the last update, no role can delete/edit posts etc.
After updating the created role, they cannot delete the selected post (reservation) to the trash. An error occurs that they do not have access.
Hello! When I add restriction only for WooCommerce to be seen, the Meta Boxes (shop_order) are still greyed out no matter how many times I turn them on and save. That way that user cannot access the order details for example and I don’t want that.
What am I doing wrong?
Hi, I’m using the plugin to restrict some modules to Publisher access. Everything works, except the page to view / edit their profile (wp-admin / profile.php) where a user must be able to change their password. Could you check it out?
Hi there,
currently using plugin version 1.1.0 with WP version 5.9.3. Theme is OceanWP 2.0.2 and PageBuilder is Elementor 3.5.1.
WP throws the following stack trace:
Fatal error: Uncaught Exception: Serialization of 'Closure' is not allowed in /mnt/web212/d2/44/53732244/htdocs/wp-includes/functions.php:617 Stack trace: #0 /mnt/web212/d2/44/53732244/htdocs/wp-includes/functions.php(617): serialize() #1 /mnt/web212/d2/44/53732244/htdocs/wp-includes/option.php(458): maybe_serialize() #2 /mnt/web212/d2/44/53732244/htdocs/wp-content/plugins/user-rights-access-manager/admin/admin_menu_handle.php(18): update_option() #3 /mnt/web212/d2/44/53732244/htdocs/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php(309): wpres_admin_menu_handle->wpres_get_metabox_value() #4 /mnt/web212/d2/44/53732244/htdocs/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php(331): WP_Hook->apply_filters() #5 /mnt/web212/d2/44/53732244/htdocs/wp-includes/plugin.php(474): WP_Hook->do_action() #6 /mnt/web212/d2/44/53732244/htdocs/wp-admin/includes/meta-boxes.php(1581): do_action() #7 /mnt/web212/d2/44/53732244/htdocs/wp-admin/edit-form-advanced.php(271): register_and_do_post_meta_boxes() #8 /mnt/web212/d2/44/53732244/htdocs/wp-admin/post-new.php(75): require('/mnt/ in /mnt/web212/d2/44/53732244/htdocs/wp-includes/functions.php on line 617
This error occurs from time to time after the edit of a site or by visiting an option of another plugin.
Seems like the error belongs to your plugin.
Best regards
As you can see in the above screenshot, I have a user with the role Administrator, which has some restrictions.
Now, if I delete the restrictions, this will cause the respective user to gain full access to the website, which is a catastrophe…
In order to prevent this issue, we need to add an onclick warning, so when the Delete button is clicked we get a notification like the one below.
onclick="return confirm('Note that unassigning a user will grant him full access based on his role! Are you sure you want to continue?');"
For the role delete:
onclick="return confirm('Note that deleting a restricted role will cause any assigned users to gain full access! Are you sure you want to continue?');"
This will let the admin know, that first he needs to block the user access, then remove the user/role restriction.
Also, a minor English correction. It’s: Permissions have been updated successfully!
Thanks!
@miteshsolanki
From what I’ve tested, the Custom URLs restriction doesn’t seem to work.
I’m using the Divi Theme, and the theme’s frontend builder URL is:
/mywebsite.com/?et_fb=1&PageSpeed=off
When I add this path to the Custom URLs restriction, the user can still access it in the front.
Plugin v1.1.0
Thanks!
Hello @miteshsolanki
Please note that a fully restricted admin user, still has access to the Posts Page.
/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=post
Plugin version 1.1.0
Thanks!
Please note that the Dashboard MetaBox has some issues, as you can see in the screenshot below:
1. There shouldn’t be a space between the Welcome and :
Also, if there’s no First and Last name set, the welcome should use the username.
2. The correct English text should be:
Here you can access the site based on your job requirement. Let us know if you require some additional access.
3. That
shouldn’t appear.
Thanks!
Please note that I’m getting the following errors on PHP 8.0.15:
WP v5.9.2
URAM v1.0.9
Thanks!
Hi,
If I set some restriction and save them and it redirect me back to list (user or role).
So I have to do edit it again, but the restriction list is collapsed also on items I set before. There is no way to open it and see what was set. Only uncheck option and set it again.
I have a user with editor role. I’ve installed this plugin and created a restriction for this user. No matter the settings I try when I login with this user all i see is “Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page”. Please advise, I must be missing a setting somewhere.
Hello,

Please note that the Remove Admin Bar feature doesn’t work.
It only removes some elements from the Admin Bar, but not the bar itself.
WP 5.7.2
Plugin 1.0.5
I hope you can fix it.
Thanks!
No roles shown in role restiction drop down , how to create roles by this plugin
Hi,
I just tested the plugin on a new site freshly set up. User Rights Access Manager is the only plugin present.
Created a user with Contributor role and tried out some configurations on permissions for that role. Tried out many combinations, but can’t get the user to access their “Edit profile” page. I get “Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.”
Also, the contributor sees +New in their Admin bar, but clicking leads to an error message:
Notice: Undefined index: edit.php in /home/me/localhost/wp-tests/wp-content/plugins/user-rights-access-manager/class/uram_user_role_restriction_class.php on line 117
Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.

A specific plugin function (setting appointments) I want to have open to staff to monitor their appointments. I see the name of the plugin on the Restrictions list, clicked it, but don’t see it when I go in as that Role (or User, tried both ways).
What would restrict it not showing “Amelia” which is the plugin I’m trying to give access to?
