Is anyone having an error message of Ustream API since the mid of July?
If this is happening to everybody, I would need to start considering to change the design of this plugins.
Thanks.
]]>Hi guys,
If you are using Ustream Status prior to 2.0.3, you may see the following error after July 7, 2016.
Error occured. We could not retrieve the data from Ustream.
If so, please update it to 2.0.3.
Ustream seemed to close the door of http request, but they are only accepting https API request for your channel status.
It’s very simple fix, but all version prior to 2.0.3 no longer works unless Ustream re-open http request.
Thanks
]]>Hi
I’ve finally had time to figure out SteffenFraWots’s problem from the following post
https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/compatibility-issues-2?replies=2
Please see the following
https://stackoverflow.com/questions/6551379/file-get-contents-error
You may be using a hosting server which doesn’t really support file_gets_content() since they are free or cheap hosting service.
But I’ve added the path to bypass the warning error.
]]>First, I must say great plugin. It works. However, I realize that your last update to this plugin was in January 2014. Are you working on getting this plugin updated and tested with the latest version of WordPress?
]]>Hi, the widget is EXACTLY what we need, and I hope we can use it. When I input the channel URL, I get this message, however..
Error occured. We could not retrieve the data from Ustream.
Is there a fix for this? Thanks!
]]>I am getting the following error code when using the plugin in version 3.5.1
Warning: file_get_contents() [function.file-get-contents]: https:// wrapper is disabled in the server configuration by allow_url_fopen=0 in /home/www/mysite/wp-content/plugins/ustream-status/ustreamstatus.php on line 96
Warning: file_get_contents(https://api.ustream.tv/php/channel/wotstv/getValueOf/status) [function.file-get-contents]: failed to open stream: no suitable wrapper could be found in /home/www/mysite/wp-content/plugins/ustream-status/ustreamstatus.php on line 96
Error occured. We could not retrieve the data from Ustream.
is this a version compatibility issue and are there any plans for an upgrade?
]]>I followed all your instructions, but image area shows up empty.
I double checked the image url & the ustream id (and tried to url too)
