With Beaver Builder, Venobox Lightbox does not work by using the Load More option of Pagination.

It works with the images that are loaded before pressing the Load more button but does not work with those that are loaded after pressing the button, opens the photo URL.

On my page Load More button is “+ Gehiago ikusi”.

If I insert several galleries on one page, they are always merged in VenoBox although I do not want this – is this intentional?

This can be seen by the fact that the next arrow is displayed at the last image of a gallery and then the theres a jump to the next gallery.

I think the problem is that all my galleries get the same data-gall=”Gallery” attribute. I tried it with a basic wp installation in gutenberg editor and also in beaver builder page builder.

Hello, I meet a strange problem on the page about your plugin on my site. All links seem to open with Venobox. Other pages do not have the problem.

Looking to use Venobox for lightbox for images and videos and also to add an overlay to videos. Can this be automated where you don’t have to add code to every multimedia asset used?

More of an FYI — the “Disable VenoBox on this page” checkmark is only visible if I have “Classic Editor” installed. It is impossible to access in the standard Gutenberg page edit screen, at least in WordPress 5.2.2

Please, if possible, make it accessible without having to have Classic Editor turned on!

I’m using shortpixel on my wordpress, which convert my jpg to webp, changing the markup to <picture></picture>. The problem is venobox won’t work with this markup.

How could I solve that ?

When the content inside of the lightbox is longer than the screen, I want it to scrollable, which it is on most browsers/devices, but it is not on iphone. It scrolls the body behind the lightbox instead.

Details: I am using the Venobox plugin with Divi to display some inline content in a modal when the user clicks a “Quick Apply” link.

I have got a Gallery page on my website using the Final Tiles Gallery with the VenoBox Lightbox. It works with filters from Final Tiles, so when I click “Austria” there are just pictures from Austria shown. But if I open one picture in the VenoBox lightbox and navigate in the lightbox to the next picture, there are always ALL pictures shown, no matter what filter is activated.

Could you help me to solve this problem?

Images need more margin and padding?
Vertical images are way to tall and don’t fit within screen size.

Is there any way disable your plugin on mobile and tablet view but have it running for screen view?

Or is there any way to remove the “venobox” and “vbox-item” classes that your plugin injects based on a specific @media breakpoint/screen size?

Venobox is a great plugin and very easy to use.

But I want to know how to use Venobox to open a menu item in a lightbox. I have tried setting the class of the menu item to “venobox” but that does not seem to work. It starts, but seems to get stuck loading the page that should be display inside the lightbox.

How do I achieve this please?

I would suggest changing examples in images/* to some self made or free content to avoid copyright issues. Right now everybody who uses this nice plugin provides pictures in /wp-content/plugins/venobox-lightbox/images to the world for which she or he does not have publication rights.

I had a black box covering up settings after updating WP to 4.9, but was able to fix by adding to the admin CSS:

body.settings_page_venobox .wp-color-result {

How can i set the max-height to the lightbox?
I often got some flyers and they have a 3:4 ratio not like every simple 4:3 ratio or something like that, but the scrollbar is insane ugly and i want to set the lightbox restriction to their “height” value.

i’ve tried something like this, but it didn’t work:

I have a (likely silly) question, but it’s something that I don’t really know how to phrase well enough, apparently, to get a solution through searching.

So, my company wants to send an email that links to the video we have on a certain page. We want to make it so that, when they click the link, it automatically opens the lightbox to play the video. Is this possible, or is there a way I can use PHP to conditionally call the opening script?

I’m fairly experienced, so feel free to just explain the concept or point me in the right direction. Thanks!

I’ve spent the past days trying to find a plug-in that will display a tall image and VenoBox seems like it’s 99% of the way there–which is great.
My images are newspaper article scans, e.g. 1000px wide, 7200px tall.

When the VenoBox lightbox opens the image covers nearly edge to edge and it’s almost impossible to click the image away without going to the bottom or top were there’s a larger active ‘esc’ zone to click on. If I use a developer tool and add style=”margin:5%;” to the vbox-container that works–gives me breathing room on the right and left sides (I know, I lose some screen real estate but I’d like to have some space on the left and right anyway).
I know there’s a tiny “x” in the upper right corner to click the image away and that a user can hit the ESC key to close the lightbox but I’d like to also give the option of clicking to the left or right of the image, which currently is very difficult since the space to do that is tiny.

I tried adding the same margin property in venobox.min.css and venobox.css (is one the “master” copy?) but it had no effect. I tried about 10 other lightboxes the past days and all are the same–no matter what I modify in the .css files, the lightbox width is not affected. I guess I don’t understand how it works but it seems illogical somehow.

not sure how to play with that though.

Any help would be appreciated. I’m frustrated after days of trying to find a lightbox that keeps the long height but lets me specify the width (either in px or %).

1) Image already “exit” in post. Click “edit” , link to ==> Media link did not appear here

2) I have to click “media link” in each choose image for post (both of upload/exit in media) ==> Can plugin smarter? Checked by defaul for all image/video/… Becuase very little people use your plugin, but don’t need use plugin for everything in website. Any way “disabled button” in each post already, in such tiny people don’t need. They can use “disabled button”

3) How is solution with embed image and video?

There is a little bug on Safari 10.1.2 (El Capitan operating system Mac).
When I use ‘rotating-plane’ preloader icon, the preloader never stop and the text at the foot, the Next/Preview arrow are strange.

Can’t get this to even activate, please fix?
