class-mappings.php –
Mappings::$core – no entry for google 3.7.1 (“Latest”) – so choosing Google as the jQuery provider causes this plugin to default back to jQuery CDN.
Google CDN is hosting 3.7.1:- https://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/3.7.1/jquery.min.js?ver=3.7.1
I get this error every time I activate the plugin!
]]>Hello, when you deactivate the core jQuery plugin, the cookie banner does not appear!
]]>Hi,
I want jquery version 2.2.4 to fix issues on my website. It is helpful as it fixed the issues. The only problem I am facing is that the slider revolution stops showing slides while using this plugin. When I change the jQuery version it starts working.
I also want to mention that using another jQuery plugin perfectly works with slider revolution in the 2.2.4 version but I don’t prefer that plugin due to some issues.
Kindly guide me how to fix the issue.
]]>Hello,
I use this plugin to keep my wordpress site on a version of jquery prior to 3.0 so that it works with my purchased theme.
Today, we saw the error that caused our site not to load at all. After updating to 3.3.2, it seems to be only loading the most recent stable version of jquery, and when I try to set it to jquery 2.2.4, it doesn’t seem to save it and the front end of my site still has the most current version (3.6.3 of jquery loaded, which breaks the theme.
We use this site to take orders for our brick and mortar escape room business, and are not able to take orders right now because of the failure of this plugin.
Please assist?
]]>Hi, good, I had the plugin in 3 wp and I had to uninstall it in all 3 since it is not the first time that updating gives an error
]]>Hello Devs,
Unfortunately the two latest versions of this plugin cause a WordPress “critical error” on the frontend of the website. The backend continues to function. Unfortunately our server logs are not working properly at the moment, so I was unable to view errors produced. This occured January 7th 2023. I had to revert to version 3.2 in order to use our website.

]]>Same problem…
Creator of this plugin ghost the support..
I have a problem with a WordPress theme that also overrides the jQuery version. Currently your plugin cannot help me, because it uses the default priority for the “wp_enqueue_scripts” hook.
I suggest using priority 100 or even 999 for this hook:
add_action('wp_enqueue_scripts', 'vcfj_jquery_core_version', 999);
Does this plugin allow you to change the admin version of jQuery. I have discovered that the front and back ends of WordPress use two different versions.
]]>Would be nice to have the option to completely disable jquery-migrate if we’re confident there aren’t any plugin/theme conflicts with jquery versions.
]]>Hello,
loaded from the super-fast jQuery CDN.
What is the CDN resources now please?
Secondly, Please check:
https://www.ads-software.com/support/plugin/wp-jquery-cdn
Most site request Jquery to work, but it effects the speed a lot. There are always lots of local Jquery resources in almost every country, To use outbox CDN resources might be a way to speed up access?
If yes, the problem is the resources of jquery CDN are quite different speed for a specific region.
So, it would be great if there is an option to custom a Jquery CDN resource url.
What do you think please, thanks
Alex
