Great plugin indeed!

Is there any way of making the width of the map responsive please?

Our embedded map looks good on desktop PCs, but looks horrible on mobile phones as it is way too wide for a mobile screen.

Need help, why does the plugin stopped working. I have this error in the console:

Refused to display ‘https://maps.google.com/’ in a frame because it set ‘X-Frame-Options’ to ‘sameorigin’.

I have two page, one with fr-CA and other with en-CA.
The little left-top popup show only text in french.
Can I force to see english in may en-CA html page ?

Hello, it looks like as of february 22nd, the shortcode for the map is not working anymore and displays the shortcode instead.

All API is authorized and verified. The is another Google map on the Locations page (https://www.homevantage.com/locations/) working perfect so it is not an API issue being authorized.

The pw_map does not even appear to be generating the script to display the map. I put in a php echo to see what would be generated in the “do_shortcode”. All the settings look perfect.

Hi, I really want a button in the marker description that would allow me to share the coordinates and description of the marker with friends by one click.

I’m trying to find the cid id as per the instructions and I can’t find it – can you tell me if this has been replaced? If I try to email the link it comes in with URL shortener and even when it’s expanded there’s still no cid= variable.

I would like an email to be sent to an administrator when a user on the map makes any changes to the markers. Ideally, the changes would be able to be broken down in the email as well.

I tried the plugin and loading does work but unfortunately all of the other additions do not work, such as an alternative width and height. Is this plugin outdated by any chance? Please let me know. Thanks.

The embedded map on the contact page no longer works in Google Chrome. The map starts to come up (you see it flash on) and then it disappears. The console in the Developer Tools shows multiple errors and warnings. The errors say “Failed to load resource: net::ERR_BLOCKED_BY CLIENT and the warnings mention “NoApiKeys” and “sensor-not-required.”

I don’t recall having to deal with an API key when I put this in the site a few years ago. BTW, it still works fine in Safari and Firefox (I”m just looking from my Mac at this point).

I recently updated the Very Simple Google Maps Plugin to 2.8 and all of my Map buttons have disappeared. An example of the shortcode I’m using is this:

Has the shortcode changed in this new update or is there some way I can fix this?

Would it be possible to use the satellite view as default?
There’s the icon in the below left corner to change, but I would like to have satellite as default.

Is there a way to disable the mouse scroll. It zooms in and out on the map when I am scrolling down the page the map is placed on.

Going nuts trying to use the BB Code for Google Maps. I have tried everything and I either get the code showing in the post or a blank space where the map should be.

First off great plugin, simple and easy. My only issue is the location point is not centered in the map onload, its in the top left, so strange.

Am new to WP and often don’t know the intricacies of using code, even the simple type such as in your plug in.

Got the map to display, then tried the code to resize it, was typing this just after the code for the map address:

[vsgmap width=”300″]
[vsgmap height=”300″]

But was seeing this below the map “vsgmap”.

I need advice on how to input the code above please.
