I have set the plugin up and added the shortcode to the page above, but when I click the button it doesnt appear as a popup, instead a s a full page.

Im also getting a console error:

Uncaught TypeError: jQuery(…).YouTubePopUp is not a function

The video autoplays only when the video is muted, but when the video is unmuted, the video does not autoplay

Can I change the Video Window to a Vertical view instead of the Horizontal view and it seems the video does not start automatically even though I checked the box for auto play. Any help with these two questions is appreciated. Many Thanks, JP

Can this be setup with more than one page or post? I tried using commas but the FIELD would not save and returned a BLANK field. Like this 60107,59943,59939,59925,57367

Would appreciate some help here. Initially when we installed the plugin, it was working. Nothing has really changed on the site and we tried checking for plugin conflicts and could not find any.

We see this in developer mode in Chrome:
Uncaught TypeError: jQuery(…).YouTubePopUp is not a function
at HTMLDocument. (YouTubePopUp.js?ver=1709972628:11:22)

Hello friends. Congratulations on an excellent plugin! I installed version 1.1.4 on WP 6.4.3 and it worked correctly for a few days. After that, the autoplay stopped working on the mobile version. How can I get it working again? Host configuration, MySQL 5.6 and PHP 7.4. Would it work with the PRO version?

I get this message when i close the lightbox (self hosted mp4)
It seems to be a preloader (the css class is “mfp-preloader”), and it remains an opaque overlay on the page, and you have to click to make it go away…

The videos I add using this plugin continue to play after you close the window.

You can click back into the video to pause it, but otherwise it keeps going.

When the pop-up opens, there’s a delay until the video loads and all the customer sees is black. Is there a way to reduce the video delay from the time the pop-up opens and the video plays?

trying your execelent pop-up. For some reason its only forwarding to the vimeo clips instead of playing in lightbox. A youtube link instead works correctly. Do you have some idea how get a vimeo playing inside our website?

I love this plug in and it works really well on my desktop, but on mobile, when I hit the play button the video opens up to play. Once I allow it to play for a few seconds, I need to press the X button several times to close the video window.

Please advise how I can avoid this. I’m on an iphone 11

Hi there,

First time using this plugin. I’ve added videos to a page via shortcode. on first visit to the page everything works as expected. click a popup and the video starts to play. close and it seems to stop.

However, if I navigate away from that page and then return using the browser forward or back button, the audio from the video starts to play but there is no popup of the video. If I’ve previously watched multiple videos on that page, they will all start playing the audio.

I’ve tried desktop browsers Chrome, Firefox & Safari. Safari is the only one to exhibit this behavior.

Is this fixable or perhaps a safari bug?

In my performance/SEO reports it is constantly telling me that this script is not being minified on any page
Which I assume it because of the querystring that gets appended to the path and is different on every page
e.g. YouTubePopUp.jquery.js?ver=1620323754

what is the reason for this querystring and can I remove it?

I’ve got a number of separate videos that I’d like to be able to click on the title and have it appear in the same frame. I.e. first video title: Overview; second video title: Section 1; third video title: Section 2, etc.

I don’t care about changing the thumbnail, I just want to be able to view the title and click o it to view the video, next title view in same frame as first, etc.

Everytime the video is watched, the user is redirected to the Terms and COnditions page instead of resuming from the page they were on. Is this a setting I missed?

The plugin is working fine except for one thing. My Youtube video contains chapters/timestamps and I can see the chapters on Youtube site. But when the plugin loads my video on my site, the chapters are not there. Can you please comment and tell how to resolve this issue?

When using “Elementor” page builder i can’t add the “vp-a” class directly to link. only to a wrapper.

Is there a way to use it in Elementor some other way (not shortcode, because i need it to work with dynamic content)?
