I notice that whenever I specify a value for “width”, the video has very large bands of black space above and below it. According to your documentation, the height is supposed to be automatically calculated but that automatic calculation of the height isn’t working. Are you aware of this problem?
What I’m seeing is that the problem (in the css) is being caused by the value of ‘padding-top” for “xxxdimensions.vjs-fluid”. I can fix it by manually modifying this value (in “Developer tools”). Please advise.

I notice that if I have one post with a video, the video.js file will be loaded not just on that post but on all posts on the site. So if my WordPress site has 100 posts and I add a video to one of those posts then the other 99 posts will load that (unnecessary) javascript file. Is there a way to change it so that the javascript file will only load on posts that actually use it?

I’m really looking for a way that doesn’t require the user to write new php code whenever a new video is added to a specific post.

If I call the player twice on the same page via Advanced Ads with cache busting on only the last initialization displays, the others simply do not render. I saw a thread from two years ago that indicated they had the exact same issue with ajax loading.

Is there any suggestions on how to fix it?

I came to check if this plugin offers the ability to add these video controls (most importantly the ability to select quality) and see a few forum posts about them marked as resolved, however I don’t see how to use/implement them.

Please let me know if I’m missing something. I’ll take a look at the plugin code myself as soon as I have a chance, but thought I’d ask here before going down that rabbit hole.

We’re looking for a player than can allow the user to select from available audio tracks. We’re hosting the videos in an S3 bucket, but we haven’t found a WordPress player yet that supports multiple languages for audio and subtitles.

With the current way I have the video autoplaying it works fine on Chrome and Firefox but not Safari. I was just wondering this plugin autoplays on Safari (desktop specifically). Thank you so much!

Will this plugin help me DENY PERMISSIONS such as download and share?

I offer online courses, My videos are hosted in my hosting provider.
One of my cnocerns is if the videos hosted in my hosting provider will be watched without problmes.

Another concern is video protection:

The videos will be embedded in a restricted area with a membership plugin. This plugin helps in that only people who have purchased the course will be able to watch the videos. However, I am interested in protecting mi content in every possible way so that it cannot be downloaded by members, or in any way shared with others.

Please let me know if the plugin will help me in this project

I have been looking for a certain type of video application which is just like tik tok. If possible I would like to run it through wordpress as that is where i have some ability.
