They are providing pathetic services after purchasing their license. we have paid them two times for license and also paid additional payment for pushing streams last month. We have provided all access to configure but still they do not configure it. They are also giving reply for every query after 4 to 5 days which is non professional behavior. Second time our license is going to expire again but still they don’t complete our setup.

After trying out this free plugin nothing really worked on my site without adobe flash, which is pretty much discontinued by Adobe. I tried to upgrade and thats when things got real. I was told i’d need to move my entire site from WPEngine, the most powerful WordPress hosting company in the world, besides WordPress itself and only host with them… Refund request was quickly denied and i was threatened with legal action…. All of this happens inside emails filled with excuses, long enough to write a book.

One of the most useful things its the iOS compatibility (and detection) out of the box
It lacks payment gateway (only myCred supported) for premium channels and pay per view; a more extensive list of payment gateway could be useful

The baseline of this software looks good and has everything I need. I put in place all my requirements and I will be doing my own hosting, but to set that up you need the application to put on your dedicated server which you have to sign up and you have access to the link to download it. The bad part is you don’t have access to the link to download the server application which is needed to host your own rtmp server until they send you a confirmation email and I’m here 2 days and still no email. I tried it with 3 of my other email address and seeing if it’s blocking it but still nothing. So starting off with this company is just a headache and bad support. Sent an email and still no response.

I activated the plugin, went to its settings page, realized it wasn’t going to work for me, and then went to the Plugins page and deactivated.
During those few minutes, the Plugin self-published 30 pages (as in PUBLIC PAGES) — 15 titled “Channels” and 15 titled “Broadcast Live” with the shortcode [videowhisper_channels] and [videowhisper_channel_manage], respectively.
Yes, it’s easy enough, though a waste of my time, to delete those pages, but (1) what else did it do while it was in there? And (2) The damned thing wasted 30 of my allotted branded short links. Not happy.

It is extremely rare that I ever post on these ratings or even forums in general. At least, that has been the historical norm but likely changing soon.
Still, I deeply believe in general goodwill to others, a great deal of what I think has made the WordPress community and similar communities so wonderful. So, I felt compelled to put up a very serious warning to others in regards to this plugin and others by VideoWhisper.
I vet many areas and today I found myself vetting the video integration options for WordPress. I tend to go pretty deep because I feel it is best to spend far more time on the selection process versus all the lost time on retracking on a poor/quick choice.
In looking at the reviews of this plugin and other plugins by VideoWhisper, I became suspicious of all the 5 star reviews. I am not saying they are all false, but many of them simply look like fake accounts created to pad the rating results. Do not take my word on it, you can look at when a number of these “members” were created and the activity of what they did. Some were created literally on the same day of the ratings, provided 5 star ratings to a few of the various Whisper plugins, and then never did anything more again.
I have zero knowledge in reference to the developer(s) behind VideoWhisper and I certainly have no ill will toward them at all. If I am wrong, then I apologize. But, it does not take much digging around to say that it really appears that something is likely fishy behind a lot of these 5 star ratings.
