On Sep. 25 (it is now Oct. 4) I was notified by visitors of broken videos on my site. It was the second time in 9 months that the vimeography plugin has (most likely) deleted its own metadata, resulting in our site breaking.
Support has been unhelpful -at best- and now does not respond to emails, their support box and/or twitter(x) at all.
Overal this plugin COULD be recommended but seeing you basically get a FU when problems occur… I would not recommend this, highly overpriced, plugin

Highly recommended, wow, the Vimeology plugin and themes are exceptional, made my site function and look professional, it was unbelievably easy to setup and use, and the output was better than I could have imagined. I only required support because the initial theme I chose didn’t quite fit my site design, so I contacted them about an exchange for another theme. They got back to me straight away and exchanged the theme without any issues whatsoever. I’ll certainly be using them again.

Bought the bundle and was really impressed with so many options and themes to choose from. Several different looks that are easy to modify if you know a little CSS. Dave is great with communication and support. helped me figure out something I was stuck on and then did a document that outlines how to correct the issue for anyone having the issue in the future.

The free version is very good, but of course the theme I wanted was in the Pro release. It was worth it! What’s nice is this just works with no fuss. Being able to use the Vimeo channels for videos is such a time saver vs the plugins that require you to give a link to each video.
Had some problems at the beginning – I wasn’t able to view or edit the galleries, but Dave was super responsive, even offering to remote in when he was out of town. Ultimately, the problem was with WPCerber and having to put in an exception, but that wasn’t a Vimeo issue at all. Dave’s comments led me to the fix.
No complaints at all, but of course there’s a wish for more tweaking – or better yet a utility that would give you full control to design your own themes. Maybe in the Pro+ version?
If you use Vimeo, I highly recommend this plugin!

Vimeography has it all. A stable and functional plug-in that works just as advertised and, more importantly, a robust and impressive support response.

I bought the premium version of this two years ago. When I couldn’t get it working I was told by the author that I needed to renew my subscription for a product that I could not get to work.
I have since tried to re-visit
It seems to me that his views are academic. The inability to respond to a cry for help seem to sum it all up.
He will do it his way with no regard for end user requirements or any attention for giving advice.

This is a very elegant solution to the age old problem of how best to showcase your films on your own site. Set-up is very straightforward and the results look great.
I’ve been using the Videography for a few years and had to call on support for the first time this weekend. Dave’s responses were prompt, helpful and got me back on my feet after I’d made a basic Vimeo-based mistake. Videography worked perfectly throughout but Dave advised and supported perfectly.
It’s good when things work just fine but the real measure of a plugin developer is how they respond to support requests. Some use the being a small developer to explain unhelpful delays; in this case, there was no delay, support was immediate, friendly and not restricted to office hours.
Needless to say I’ll be looking no further than Vimeography for my video display needs. Thanks Dave.
