I have 2 different pages and templates, but want to use 1 Viperbar for one MailChimp list and the other page would have 1 Viperbar, but would be linked to another MailChimp list.
All of these would reside under the same MailChimp account (just different lists).
Has anyone gotten this to work with Mailchimp or is it a lost cause?

I find that when I type an email into Viperbar (it’s set to feedburner) it just opens up the subscription form for my feed – isn’t it supposed to pass the email into the form?
I hope someone can help me because I really like this plugin, however, I don’t really see the point if the user has to do the work twice.

I have successfully installed the Viperbar on my site but am using mail chimp and despite having included the list ID and API, it’s not registering the emails. I have tried several test emails but they’re definitely not working. Have also tried installing using two different themes but I’m having the same issue with both.
Ok here are some more issues in V2.0 unfortunately, which made me go back to attiongrabber:
– after editing the stylesheet in Chrome or Safari (on Mac-OS) it adds cahracters of backslashed where the ajaxscript is included in the “Advanced” edit css screen. With every save it ads another one
– after editing advanced style there was the LOADING… text on top of the viberbar all the time, pushing the rest of the content in the bar down so you couldn’t read it properly anymore (and it looks broken to the visitor)
So thse issues have to be fixed in order to make it usable. Let me know when this is done and I reuse it.
]]>I noticed that the hide button is not working properly: When clicked, it makes the bar invisible but leaves the space untouched, which results in a blank space above the site. Very uncool.
Suggestion: make is exactly as hello bar or attentiongrabber: when closed, collapse it and then drop down a small arrow to the right to un-collapse it again.

1) Viperbar is showing loading… when all are loaded suscessfully, but the letter are showing half..
2) The Viper Bar button gradient is not working both in Admin panel, Preview or Client
Whats the problem, Can anyone solve?

I love the Viperbar plugin. It helped me get more subscribers to feedburner indeed. ?? But I noticed that when the bar is disabled by the user, it leaves a margin on top of the site. So everytime the visitor comes back, the margin is there.
It′s probably something with my theme… I′d really apreciate any help on this matter for I have no idea where to begin.

]]>Installed the plugin just fine, added my Mailchimp API and Unique List ID, (just like I have with other plugins) but when I test it and enter an email address & name it acts like it went through fine, even gives me the conformation message and tells me to check my email for the double opt-in but I never receive an email and Mailchimp has no new subscriber.
Seems like this plugin is broken or dead. Please fix/update as this is the best looking attention grabbing bar I have found.
I just upgraded a site to WP 3.3 and in doing so, the Viperbar plug-in de-enabled itself, and more importantly, all the information in their Viperbar installation was deleted: their split-test stats, text on the bar, mailing list details, custom colours – everything.
This seems like a major bug – please look into it as soon as you can to spare others the same fate. Thank you.

I’m not sure if this is intentional, or if I have a virus, or the ViperChill.com website has a virus, but there are two workarounds if you’re having the same issue:
Option 1:
Just disable javascript in your browser.
Option 2:
1. Go to plugins, then click Edit under ViperBar
2. On the Plugin Files right sidebar, choose viperbar/admin/admin_main.php
3. Scroll down to this line:

]]>I tried this on several blogs, even on a freshly installed WordPress with default theme and the ViperBar won’t show up. Preview mode does work and I can see the bar as long as I’m logged in, but once I log out or view my page in a different browser the bar won’t show up.
Any hints? Am I missing something in the settings?

I am afraid that my Viperbar Crashes everytime I put in Mail Chimp api key and list id.
I would far prefer everything to go through Mail Chimp.
I’ve noted the viper bar will not work if the details are wrong however they are right, I have double checked them a hundred times. It seems to take down the nivo slider with it as well. The error code shown at the bottom of the screen is:

Just installed the ViperBar plugin last night and noticed today when I was trying to move around my widgets in the backend I wasn’t able to. I’m having a lot of other problems backend wise as well. I deactivated the plugin and everything works fine. Does anyone happen to know how to fix this?!

As you know your product is released in GPLv2, according to GPL I’m allowed to sell, modify and redistribute your plugin. so if you will stop people from modifying and then harassing them, this would be considered GPL violation.
I could be wrong or may unintentionally I have infringe your copyright but please don’t call me stealer or theft because I’m not those kind of people it is hurting my dignity.
Now what I need is pass this issue to WordPress so they can remove plus version if it is against there terms. I’m not updating Vb PLus unless this issue is resolved and also have removed it from other sites.
There are some features which I have developed I would happily give them to you so you can implement if they are worthy but only if I found guilty and in end Please again I’ll request don’t call me stealer there were no hidden agendas on my site.
