Have been using for years. I go to edit my existing bar graph and get greeted with a Buy a licence prompt ???♂? Had to rollback to 3.10.15 to get the functionality back…

It says you can use various data entry methods in the free one and then lists a bunch of url and other methods.
The only method you can use is manual entry.

Trust my words, avoid this junk. Save your time. Just needed a simple chart, it will have you go through like DMV style process to make one chart, just to find out there’s nothing you can unless you pay. I get that developers need to make money and I’m willing to spend $$ on good products, but what’s the point of releasing this plugin if I can’t even test my own data? What a sad plugin.

works fine, easy to use

We are using it on a rather complicated multisite install. After much research we went with this plugin for our editors needs. Our site is anything but “out of the box” and as such, some of edges didn’t fit. The developers here are great and helpful.

Warning, this plugin is one of those obnoxious ones that litter your admin with spam for their other products!
For example, on every single image edit window in the media library there’s a panel telling me that my image is too large and I should install their plugin to optimise the image. The image is an 8kb svg!!!!!!
And there’s a large panel on every single post edit page too.
Utterly unacceptable and obnoxious! The WordPress plugin team really should ban this sort of spammy behaviour!

Despite paying for a pro version, their graphs continue to display:
Chart by Visualizer
This has been an absolutely appalling take over by the new owners, inserting links into people’s front end should never have happened in first place, even for free versions.
Offer premium features, and people will pay for it. That was a ransomware, that despite paying for, did not work.
Reverting to old version.

Themeisle purports to support csv URLs from Google Sheets, but this feature has been completely non-functional for all users for months.

Needed a bit of adjustment, but I’ve used it for a few sites now with great success

I use the plug-in since 2014 ( version 1.4.2.3 ) and made many charts for my non-commercial website because of the easy use and nice charts. I can understand that developping and support costs money but in 2014 the plug-in was free to use (the support then was worse – seems to be the owner did not want to spend any effort and sold his plug-in -).
Since version 3.7.2 five (area, geo, bubble, scatter & column) of the nine free usable charts have been moved behind the paywall. Pity for me because i have many column-charts which are not visible anymore after updating to V3.7.2. I wonder why the column charts have been “removed” from the free version. I’am not able to replace the column-charts with bar-charts (big difference/to much data).
very very pity

The threshold for 2 stars is “Works,” so I can’t even give it that. For the spreadsheet I uploaded, it changes the date of the first X axis point, adding a year. So when viewing the chart, it goes Dec 2016, Mar 2016, Jun 2016, Sep 2016, Dec 2016. The first date should be Dec 2015. Opened a support thread, but had to give up and try something else.

I looked at a few chart plug-ins before settling on Visualizer, which I did mainly because the free version was unusually fully featured. You do need to do a bit of experimentation but its a very easy product to use for the quality of result it gives. It also helps to read the screen (don’t assume) but the brief descriptions are well-written and informative. It would be nice to have a pro version that gave you basic automated update at a lower price rather than having to lay out a fair amount for features many are unlikely to use, but if you will use them all the pro version is reasonable.
I like the idea the documentation is bundled with the other plug-ins – good marketing and having enjoyed Visualizer I maybe inclined to see what else to enjoy. A welcome change from those plugins that give you little unless you purchase paid add-ons, and a fine example of the old adage “If you’re good, you don’t need to be proprietary”. This product is good.

Visualizer provides exactly the functionality I was looking for! The ability to specify external databases is a blessing and it just WORKS!

I was about to create charts in spreadsheet and post images when I found this plugin. Wow! I am so glad I found it. This is a very powerful plugin to make great charts. So many options to customize your charts. Most I tried were lacking a feature I needed. This one has everything. It even has spreadsheet-like data entry. And it works perfectly.
