Hi,

I have vo locator installed and somehow it doesn’t always load the map, after refresh it work and at this point I am not sure if this is connected to plugin itself or the wordpress system.

I am using php version 7.3.
Wordpress version: 5.2.9

Is there any special configuration I should set or any ideas how I can check and confrim why this happens ?

plugin was working fine but now the Locations has nothing under there, even though all 49 listings are still active and live on the front-end, the back-end ‘Locations’ only shows the tabs but no listings.

anyone run into this problem, is this part of wordpress update or VO?

After hours of testing I have narrowed my issue down to this plugin causing the errors.

The error only shows when 2 plugins are activated. Stock theme and no other plugins are activated and I get this error.

I have the pro-version of this plugin.

Hi, I have been having trouble with our map page on mobile – when you enter an address then select from the Google list, the plugin is not updating the address field. For example, if I start to enter “Syd…” then select “Sydney” from the list, the address field only picks up and attempts to Geocode “Syd”. This often then shows the user a location elsewhere in the world.

This seems to work on your demo site, and our front facing site is quite customised, but I have tried a completely fresh install on our staging site at https://vpu.f7c.myftpupload.com/where-to-buy-for-the-road-beer/ and still have the same problem.

I’m wondering if it is possible to pass the zip code from a Gravity Form (zip code text field) directly into the VO Store Locator?

On our online contact form people can ask for additional information but I would like to be able to show them a store close to them if they enter their zip code.

I have the shortcode for the map hidden in an HTML section so that it only appears if a zipcode is entered. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I purchased the PRO version if that makes any difference. Thank-you.

Is there a way to resize the filter box? I can resize the search box, albeit only the width but I can not adjust the filter box whatsoever. This leads to not being able to actually see the placeholder filter text. I have found what I thought was the css selector

Can you select more than 1 Tag for a listing. For instance I am going to use Tag to list States. I have a Rep who works in several states so I want to be able to select the multiple states he works in within the 1 listing. Then if customer selects lets say California, the Rep info shows up. If the customer selects Colorado then that same Rep would show up there too.

my client bought this a couple of weeks ago, and we have this issue.

when selecting a direction it does not take me on the map to that address, it does not filter my places and the slide of miles does not do anything either, as they show in their demos.

I’m testing your plugin on a testing site and notice a peculiar incident. I have filled out the details of a store location including lattitude and longitude – I save. If I want to go back in and edit and save – then when I look at all the listings there is an error on the item showing latitude and longitude missing. Why does a “save” delete the latitude and longitude information.

Running Version 3.2.13 and WP 5.0.3
I was debugging due to my client experiencing 503 server errors. Not sure if this is related or not.

Every backend page shows the following warning coming from the vosl plugin:

constant VOSLP_VERSION - assumed 'VOSLP_VERSION' (this will throw an Error in a future version of PHP) in /.../wp-content/plugins/vo-locator-the-wp-store-locator/vosl-admin/classes/vosl-locator-admin.php on line 1070

There’s also a page on this issue @ plugintests.com:

Seems like VOSL is not fit for PHP 7? Any idea how to fix those messages?

Out of the blue we get this error in the console:
Uncaught ReferenceError: the_ajax_script is not defined
And the locator isn’t working anymore.

Anyone else had this problem or know a solution?

We’ve purchased and installed the pro version of your plugin on this site as we prefer your styling to the previous plugin we used. When logged in as the administrator, the plugin works fine. However, when not logged in as an administrator, the plugin just ‘hangs’ – just to the right side of the search box is a spinning icon that never ends, the branch pins don’t load and you can’t click on any of the branches. We’re trying to get it resolved so we can roll it out to the other branches.

– At the moment the map is zoomed way out of the united kingdom, is there any way I have have it set to zoom in a bit more as default?
– When I click on one of the locations on the left, nothing happens. Is there a way that the loaction details can come up when one of these is clicked?

we have a problem with the display of the logos connected to the companies in our list. They are referenced with http while our webpage uses httpS. I see no way to adjust this within the backend as the images are linked to the media gallery.
How can we solve that issue?

Mixed Content: The page at '***' was loaded over HTTPS, but requested an insecure image '***'. This content should also be served over HTTPS.

I am looking for an app like this one that I can add custom data to. For example, we have a chain of gas stations. I have our fuel prices exported to a csv file every 15 minutes that contains fuel prices for every station. I would like to display the gas prices for each store on each information block when someone clicks on a store location. Is that possible with this plugin?

I have inherited a website using a Store Locator Plugin with a customisation to allow Users to update their location. Unfortunately its going to be expensive to upgrade to the latest version and maintain this functionality.

I am trying to add addresses but whatever I try it tells me “failed to geocode. Received status REQUEST_DENIED”
I’ve tried many different addresses and none of them work so I’m guessing there’s a problem with my settings. If you need a good example, I actually need to list all Walmarts in Mexico City. One of them is as such

When I try to enable the “Search for current browser location”, i got the error “API GEOLOCATION ERROR” after enabled. How can i fix it?

When I’t trying to add an image to the post using the default “Add media” button, the image is not inserted to the post. JS console shows the following error:
