I experienced a Critcal Error when trying to dowload our PDF that was due to the tmp functions being blocked by our server host. Caroline at WaterWoo Technical Support was extremely helpful and fast in diognosing this issue.

Does exactly what I need and is simple to use. Had a small problem with a new version and the developer fixed it within hours of reporting it. That’s service!
Hint – make sure your pdf’s are not password protected. The plugin can’t modify a password protected file – obviously. (A few of my pdf’s were and I had to change them.) Love being able to move the watermark anywhere on the page and also modify what it displays.

Have used this on a site for a couple of years and managed to get it to work ok. Then it suddenly started messing up PDF documents and after seeing the support forum here, recommending the way to fix was to upgrade to the paid version, I did so. Bad move. I paid for the upgrade and had a simple question before I installed it, so I used their support form. That was August 21, 12 days ago, and having contacted them twice today with no response I’m here. I’d ask for a refund but they will probably ignore that too.

Waterwoo is working fine for us to add simple watermarks to our PDF files sold via Woocommerce.
We only encountered a few problems after release of latest major version 2.4, but those were solved incredible fast after opening an issue on support forum.

This is the perfect plugin for watermarking PDF files sold/downloaded through WordPress. The Premium version even works for PDFs hosted on dropbox (which I needed). The developer helped me with a bunch of questions before I bought the Premium version and then helped with config questions after I bought it. Very responsive and friendly!

The free version has *almost* everything one would want or need in a PDF watermarking plugin. It barely feels “crippled.”
On the other hand, the premium version of this plugin *literally* has everything you would ever need for PDF stamping and watermarking.
If you’re trying to decide between different watermarking plugins, try this one first. Seriously. I feel it’s the best choice. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

Have had a lot of trouble with this plug in. When it does work, it is fantastic, however, twice we have had it fail causing the download product function to stop working. In the end, have had to switch it off.

It works, but only when it wants to. There’s no way of telling which PDFs it will work on and which it wont for sure, so you have to test them all. Support is unreliable as well. I’m not going to pay for a premium plugin the author can’t support so I’ve gone to the Woocommerce PDF Watermark addon instead. At least that’s supported very quickly and works every time.
