The better way to close the modal is to add class modal-close
to you html element
Examaple:
Thank you [Close the Modal]
using this method will not only close the modal, but will also fire the bouce Exit Animation

Hi,
I’m using WMPL + wbounce, having a simple problem with cookie law bars.
Theme: AVADA
With Cookie Law Info plugin OR Cookie Notice plugin (to show the cookie law acceptance buttons and so on)
– All the pages in the root are showing the cookie bar and wBounce works like a charm togheter. (root language us english)
– Browsing any other page in any other language, the cookie law bar OR the Cookie notice bar simply NEVER shows up, but when moving the mouse off the browser. Then wBounce is triggered and the cookie bar magically shows up.
Disabling wBounce, both cookie plugins work perfectly AND wbounce work like a charm in any language.
To me looks like a wbounce issue, but as usual could be anything else.
Any idea?
Thanks in advance
Hello,
I’ve a problem with the Wbounce plugin. I want to remind/recommend my readers a couple of blogs before they leave my website. However, the headers have a white color on a grey background. Therefore, I want to change the color of the text or the color of the background. The code I’m using below doesn’t give a black background:

Is dit misschien interessant voor je?

[blog_posts style=”background-color:#000000;” posts=”6″ type=”slider” columns=”3″ image_height=”200px” show_date=”true” ]

Nee bedankt!

The code I’m sure of is:
[blog_posts posts=”6″ type=”slider” columns=”3″ image_height=”200px” show_date=”true” ]
Also when I put the next code in the CSS the background color doesn’t change:
.wbounce-modal .modal-title { background-color: #000000; }
Can somebody help me?
Kind regards,
Laura Doggen

Hi

I use Woocommerce, and I can use “Use wBounce on this page?” selection on other pages and posts (like /checkout/) but I can’t find, where is page “order received” , what client see after clicking “Order now”.
In my site this page is:

Also I can’t find where to put my e-mail address in wBounce, where popup requests are sended.
Hi Kevin,
Nice plugin! I’d like to report that it is not working/firing the popup when using Firefox. I’ve tested it at your demo site https://kevinw.de/wbounce/ with IE, GOOGLE CHROME and Firefox. Only Firefox did not trigger the popup.

Hello,
I’m using contact form 7 for my website.
It’s working fine.
I add the wbounce plugin to popup a contact message everytime

The popup appears, but when pressing the submit button nothing happen –
I don’t see confirmation text or get an email.
Here’s the code for the contact form:

[text* text-660 placeholder “name”]
[tel* tel-54 placeholder “phone number”]
[submit “send”]

and here’s the code for the wbounce plugin:

Before you leave

Contact us for more information

[contact-form-7 id=”6300″ title=”top form_copy_copy”]

Hi,
I have a blog about WordPress and I’m writing an article about the wBounce plugin, however, I have some doubts regarding some settings plugin and I appreciate any help.
For what exactly serves the Test mode option: [https://prnt.sc/cjlyyn]?
Follows below some doubts about events on Google Analytics:
1) Click on area outside of the popup
This event counts the number of clicks outside the popup, there is no event to account the number of clicks within the popup?
2) Click on ‘.modal-close’.
I did not understand what this event counts, since there is no native feature to the close button. The event ‘Click on’ .modal-footer. ” is not the same thing? If not, what are the differences between them?
Thanks in advance.
Hello!
Does anyone know, how to close the popup from wBounce when clicking on a hyperlink inside this popup? I have an extra link in my modal and I would like to close the window like it happens if I click on the link in the modal-footer (usually “No thanks”).
Thanks in advance!

Hi,
I noticed that wBounce is added to wp_footer() with highest priority called ‘0’. Since I moved all scripts to the footer the plugin wBounce doesn’t work anymore because it is loading before jQuery.
When changing the priority in class-frontend.php from 0 to 20 everything works fine, e.g.:
add_action( 'wp_footer', array( $this, 'wp_footer'), 20, WBOUNCE_OPTION_KEY.'-functions' );
What is the reason of this high priority? Is there any chance to change this setting to 20 to avoid this conflict?

Hey Kevin if you want to make me an svn dev I will volunteer to maintain wBounce at some level. You did so much work on the plugin and it’s fantastic.
I already made one modification I’d like to push: programatically firing the popup,
~Ben
Hi Kevin,
I see you no longer seem to be supporting this plugin which is a shame as it’s a good one.
Anyway, have been noticing the following in my server logs:
File does not exist: /my-server-file-path/wp-content/plugins/wbounce/css/min/edit-page.css
The /css/min/ folder doesn’t have an edit-page.css, but does have an edit-page-min.css
Seems there’s either a file missing, or the filename is wrong when being called, which FYI, is in /admin/class-meta.php on line 237
If you do any subsequent version updates it’d be good if you could fix this small one.
Cheers,
Hey there,
Thanks for releasing this fantastic plugin!
I’m using official mailchimp wordpress plugin to source the sign up box.
Just a little problem. Once I press subscribe the box closes before showing the ‘thank you, please check your email to confirm’ message which can be confusing to the visitors…
Any idea what I could be doing wrong? Here’s the code that I’m using – it might be wrong, I’m not a pro.

text text text

more text

[mc4wp_form id=”1042″]

no thanks

Thanks for your help in advance.
