It does not split in case you order 4 pcs. of a single product, but there is 2 only left in stock.
It just creates one “backorder order”.
Hoped it would create an order for 2 that are in stock and a separate order for 2 that are not in stock.
This plugin gives 2 options on checkout page. The 2 radio buttons are “Single Delivery” or “Split Delivery”.
I want to show on the Thank You page that the “Split Delivery is requested.”.
But I can’t find a way to know if Split Delivery option is picked on checkout page.
This plugin no longer splits orders. Can it be updated?

The customer ordered 3 orders, but I only have 1 item in stock.
when I go to the orders. It doesn’t create a new order with a backorder status?
Did I miss anything in the setting?
How can I fix it?
Thank you
]]>the plugin is not working for me. Could it be because I am using it with product variations?
]]>Hello,
I have set Dynamic pricing rules, so when order more than 100 pieces they get 10% discount. The plugin, when splits orders doesnt apply that discount to both orders, instead, keeps the original price not discounted.
]]>Great plugin – exactly what I need (almost). The pluggin doesn’t seem to be compatible with the ‘sequential order pro’ woocommerce plugin so I’m unable to use it as it will result in duplicate order numbers.
Is there any plan to make it compatible?
https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/sequential-order-numbers/
Also – an admin button to allow manual splitting of orders would be amazing.
Thanks
]]>I have been trying out the split plugin and its brilliant, but I think errors have occurred since the latest WordPress Update.
when I add one backorder and one normal order to the basket the completion page now shows the back order equals £0.00 and when the order comes through the split backorder items is showing no product in it and value equaling £0.00.
If I order just the backorder, it comes through fine and even if I order 2 backorder products.
I can’t remember now but I’m sure ordering a backorder product did show it was in order completion, I don’t get that any more.
I would really appreciate any guidance.
Thank you Vicky
]]>Hi guys,
Is there a way to have the order split in the cart?
so if I have 2 in stock and a user orders 5 the cart will show 2 items 2 in-stock and 3 on back order?
]]>Running WP 5.2.2
Woo 3.6.5
Woo Subscriptions 2.5.6
The test order I did was NOT with subscription. Guest checkout, ordered 3 items of which only 1 in stock. In admin it only shows the one order marked as “BackOrdered”. Am i missing something, perhaps a configured setting needs to be adjusted?
]]>Hi, thank you for this plugin.
I found two bugs:
– when submitting an order with exclusively ‘backorder’ items, the custom status gets somehow overruled. Is this a known issue? Workaround?(payment method: bank BACS)
– When a user is NOT logged in (guest checkout), the user details created backorder are NOT copied to the new Backorder order.
Any thoughts?
Tested on Woocommerce 3.5 & 3.6
