Hello,
I’ve been using your plugin for some years now: I set it this way:
when the customer choose the Cash on pick up method, his new order goes in “suspended” status.
I recently added a new language (English) with WPML and I made a test of purchase using your method.
The order went in “Processing” status.
I would like both languages to keep the suspended status.
Do I miss any option?
Thank you!
This plugin does not support the new WooCommerce Block-based checkout. Is this something that could be fixed?
Hi!
Do you plan to declare compatibility with the latest release of woocommerce blocks (8.3)? Many of us would use it, but the plugin seems incompatible for now.

Hi,
thanks for this great plugin. At the moment it′s possible to activate it only for certain shipments which is great. But I wonder if it′s possible also the other way around.
Like if I select “cash on pickup” in checkout, all shipments should be hidden except the shipment I prefer, for example the shipment “only pickup”.
That would be amazing because that would make it possible that customers can make kind of a “reservation” of the products in cart and then collect it in store. Do you think you can add that?
That would be a good functionality I think! ??
Thanks for your great work! ??
Regards!
I installed the plugin, it is working. I learned after some time that wc email will not work if the chosen ‘default order status’ is set on ‘payment pending’. It is necessary to set it on ‘order is processed’.
But then the backend and the app show the payment status as “paid” from the moment of ordering. This is a bit premature (and confusig for the user) because we have ‘cash on pickup’. Could that payment status indication be postponed until order is closed? Is that already possible or did I miss something?
Thank you in advance!
in the output of this action in the plugin:
add_action('woocommerce_thankyou_payinstore', array($this, 'thankyou_page'));
It only wraps the text in p tags as such:
public function thankyou_page() {
if ($this->instructions) {
echo wpautop(wptexturize($this->instructions));
}
}
Making it impossible to reliably target it with CSS style changes.
Would you be able to wrap it in a div that you apply a plugin specific class to it like this?
echo '
' . wpautop(wptexturize($this->instructions)) . '
;

When local pickup is selected at checkout, it is not showing the ‘cash on pickup’ option.
But, when a postage option is selected, it is showing the ‘cash on pickup’ option.
It’s the opposite to what it should be.
Can anyone explain?
Hi.
I have set the plugin to be the only available payment option when the delivery option is “delivery in the shop”.
However , when this is selected , the Cash on pickup option is not available !!!
If if set the plugin to be available in every delivery option then it is visible , but then is visible everywhere !!!
Can this be fixed ??
Regards.
Just wondering if you plan on continuing support for this plugin and/or bringing it up-to-date anytime soon. This is still a much needed option for Woocommerce.

Hello,
Is it possible to activate Cash on Pickup only for customers who are logged in in the shop? So that guest orders are only possible using other payment functions?
Thank you in advance
Hello Dear,

Hello,

Thanks in advance.
Hi there,
How can I link the payment option ‘Cash at Pick-up’ (i.e. Cash at Delivery enabled only for the method ‘Pick-up’) to the stock-level of the ordered product?
I run a local e-shop, with some of the displayed products not held in stock but only available through backorder (i.e. I need to order it first with my wholesale supplier).
For these backorder products I do NOT want to offer the ‘cash at pick-up’ option for obvious reason: I need to avoid back-ordering products for customers who select ‘Pick-up” + “Cash at Pick-up” and then do a no-show….
Honestly, I can’t believe this ability is not readily available, and that a through Internet search did not yield any info, plugins or anything….???
Any advise?
Cheers,
Jelle
I have the COD plugin setup and have the shipping class assigned to a product. When that product is added to the cart there are no options for the local shipping options (cod).
Woocommerce support evaluated my setup and found it to be correct. They suggested I contact you to find an answer.
I have uninstalled this plugin, but it will not remove itself from the Cart Totals table.
Add any product, then go to the cart https://evansceramics.com/cart-2/ and the plugin still shows as being active, but it was actually deactivated and then uninstalled.
How can I fix this?
Hi,
I was wondering if this plugin could have this option for the wp-admin page only?
I’m trying to create orders for people that do not order through the webpage itself and pay cash when they pickup.
I just don’t want this option on the webpage for everyone.
Thanks in advance.
Best regards,
Danny
hi,
unfortunately we nor customers are not receiving emails when customer choose cash on pick up. I have already changed the default order status but issue still persist
could you please advice?
Hi!
I am having some troubles with this plugin lately. If I un-check “Accept COP if the order is virtual”, COP doesnt show on the checkout, not even for products that are not virtual. When i activate the checkbox to accept COP if the order is virtual it appears and works for every product. Previously it worked just fine and COP only appeared on non-virtual products.
Any guess on how to fix this?
Hi,
I’m running into an issue that when a customer selects the shipping option of picking the parcel up at a parcel service that it still shows the cash on pickup payment option.
Is it possible to show this payment option only when local pickup is selected?
I saw that there is an option to have cash on pickup be the only payment method for local pickup, so I was hoping that excluding cash on pickup from certain shipping methods was also possible.
Are there any plans for this in future releases?

A costumer was confused if he should transfer the money now to the bank account or not, because the bank data were in the confirmation email.
One question:
Work Version Cash On Pickup 1.4.2 with the new WooCommerce 3.3?

Hello and ty for your work with your plugin. Im wondering if it is possible, since we have the local pickup as a payment method, to remove the shipping cost from the total amount, without having to change anything else in shipping methods or choose lockal pickupin previous cart page.
Thanks in advance
