I tried to update php to version 8.0 but wordpress fails with these reasons:

Been using this plugin for a few years and happy about it but as of yesterday it totally crashed the site so had to deactivate.
Think it has to do with some new scripts and the plugin hasn’t been updated for years
Does anyone know of a similar plugin that uses the WP gallery or if there is a quick fix?

I love this masonry gallery plugin and have been using it for several years on my Genesis themed site on multiple pages. I just tried to convert my site to Divi and even though the content of my galleries remained in the WordPress content editor, my Angie Makes Galleries no longer worked. Do you have any idea why that would happen?

Just activated the plugin, looked around the whole web, the topics here, watched your video, etc. but the plugin doesn’t show up. Can’t find a short code to add, the video shows that the gallery is supposed to popup by itself, but it does not. Please let me know how to get the plugin started.

I just found how. Maybe it would be a good idea to include this in the video & documentation since it’s not usual and is quite hidden ??

I’ve seen one other comment about this, but not a solution. When I choose the Slider (Auto-Start), there are 2 bullets displaying below the images, associated with the wcflex-nav functions. If I hide controls they disappear, but so do the arrows that appear when you roll over the images. I’d like the arrows to stay, but can’t get rid of the bullets. If I choose Slider (Fade), the bullets are to the left of the image. How can I hide just the bullets?

Wordpress 5.0 not compatible with Gallery, had to go back to WP 4.9.7

Is it possible to hide the image filename when hovering over the image? Thanks.

I just installed this gallery and it is doing almost everything I want.

However, I notice that when you click on one image in the gallery, there is no navigation through the rest of the images. On the demo page and video I can see this should work automatically, but it isn’t. Could this be because it hasn’t been tested with the newest WordPress (4.9.4)?

I use your plugin to display a gallery with the grid mode.
The appearance is good in Microsoft Edge and all other browsers, but not in IE 10 and IE11. The images are too big.

Is there a plugin bug?

I use the default WordPress widget gallery to display my pictures with ‘SiteOrigin Page Builder’, the settings of your plugin doesn’t work.
If I use your plugin without the widget gallery and always with Page Builder, it’s OK.

How can I reinstall release 1.63 of Galleries by Angie Makes? I can not find this release to download.

I am using WordPress 4.9.1 and Galleries by Angie Makes 1.64. The gallery plugin does not work – the Gallery Settings only shows the first four options when trying to edit or add a gallery.

I am using the carousel to open some images in my gallery
what I actually want to do when a user clicks on an image ..is to go full screen or a full size popup instead of being directed to the actual file….I could see it in the demo but unable to implement it.

Recently we’ve noticed that the “Link Images to Internal or External Site Urls” feature of this plugin does not seem to work on sites. WP 4.8 with wc-gallery 1.63. Furthermore sometimes the link option is not even there in the rightmost gallery settings panel. Did something change recently that broke this?

My masonry galleries are no longer showing the side scroll or captions. When I click a photo I get a full size but can not scroll.

One of my many galleries is at https://aafords.com/closed-bodies/. The Gallery settings are:
Link to – Media File; Columns = 6; Size = Thumbnail; Display = Masonry; Captions = Show On Image Pop-up

The galleries were working a few weeks ago. I tried un-installing/re-installing the plugin and there was no change.

Could you add the retina display support? In the thumbnails on “Owl Carousel (Auto Width)” view on retina displays, images are often less sharp than on non-retina displays.

I use this plugin with the Shortcodes plugin by the same author. After the recent update, they both work independently, but when they are both on, the gallery comes up blank. Any ideas?

With the new update, all the galleries disappear. For example: https://www.terieh.com/la-moza-del-viernes-es-sommer-ray/ This morning was working, now it disappear. If I deactivate the plugin, the gallery appears again.

We have problem with this plugin, it causes pages to reload on iOS especially Safari and Chrome when setup to be 2 column.

Error that is happening is A problem occurred with this webpage so it was reloaded

We have a site that uses this plugin. The plugin is used to add galleries to blog posts (of which there are a lot), so every time a new gallery is inserted the gallery settings have to be set to match the previous gallery (for consistency) – is there a way to change the default values of these settings so that when you go to create a gallery the values we want are already selected and ready to go?

I installed the plugin and the slider and mansory options are working fine but if I select ‘display -> owl carousel (auto width) or owl carousel (columns) then only the arrows show and no images show at all.
How do I get this to work?

I use a theme, which takes over [gallery] shortcode, so I cannot use WP-Canvas gallery with it. Maybe it would be possible to define alternate shortcode, to be used with WP-Canvas gallery?

Also suggestion, where to modify PHP code might be also of some use.

Anyone know of any custom CSS to fix the captions under images from being cut off and hidden? I have tried everything to get a two lined centered caption under my images. I am using masonry grid with captions below image and I have tried even adding a <br> to titles to make them look correct, it works, but it makes the grid and images uneven without adding that second line of captions below all images. I had a fix before the last update and I forgot to save it and now I can not get any fix to work with this version. Anyone who can help that would be great? I may have to abandon this plugin for one with better options.
