Hey there, I noticed in another post you mentioned that minimum order does not include shipping. However we have flat rate shipping and somehow people are able to checkout without reaching our minimum order. I’m thinking it’s somehow including the shipping cost and allowing users to bypass the minimum because of this.

For instance if a customer purchases a gift card for $50 and a physical product for $50 to meet a $100 order minimum, we’d want to exclude the gift card from this amount so the customer would have to purchase another $50 of physical product in order to checkout.

]]>I’m looking forward to using WC Minimum Order Amount plugin, is there any way to apply the rule only to the very first purchase someone does?
Example: I’m building a site oriented to serve distributors, in order to become a distributor! first the client has to fill up a form and if approved then the first purchase has to be $500 or more.
So, it will be only limited to the very first purchase, after the first purchase then there is no minimum limit.

]]>Is it possible to exclude / ignore coupon codes from the minimum order amount? Example: I have set the minimum order amount to €25,-. I also use personalized coupon codes with a fixed discount in euros (5, 10, 20 euro coupons). When a visitor uses one of these coupons the total order amount is impacted and will drop below the minimum of €25,-. So this visitor cannot proceed to checkout.
Is there a way to exclude coupon amounts from the order total? To keep the original order value, so that the visitor can finish the order.

I am developing a website for a takeaway restaurant. They have a minimum order value of ￡15. If they receive an order for delivery that is less than this, then they just charge the minimum order value.
In other words, if the items they order only come to (say) ￡12.50, then rather than flagging up the order is too small, I want a surcharge of ￡2.50 applied to bring it up to ￡15. Similarly, if the order only comes to ￡10, then a surcharge of ￡5 should be applied.
Does your plugin do this, please?

How can this be added just for a specific product category? A certain category of products is time-consuming to pack and ship, so a minimum order value is required to make it worthwhile.
