Hi! I have been using the Web 2.0 Directory plugin for months. I love it! When saving a page with the directory shortcode I now receive this error: “Updating failed. The response is not a valid JSON response.” As per your troubleshooting guide, I installed the Health Check & Troubleshooting Plugin. I found this shortcode on your site but if I enter Lazio the listings appear correct while if I enter Rome (which is in the 3rd place) I am shown random listings.

Hello, when updating from 1.6.9 to 1.7.0, the individual list pages will no longer be output.

All other content is unchanged. The URL for the list page is also displayed correctly.

Does anyone have a suggestion on this?

When I logged into today, I got a message my API key is no longer working. I created a new API key but none of the links are working under Directory Settings for me to update it. The only tab that’s working is General Settings.

Is it possible to sort select lists? I have tried hacking the get_categories() call when loading $terms by adding “orderby” => “name” and “order” => “ASC” but it doesn’t seem to work. The only workaround I have found is to create a function and run the $terms through it before they are displayed:

A website that I manage, https://bayport-dev.co.za , is using the theme TheFox (Version 3.9.61) This template makes use of the Redux framework. We have been using your plugin Web Directory Free (latest version 169) for quite some time, but recently (assuming due to upgrades of TheFox, WP Core, Web Directory Free) this plugin is preventing a Redux-based editor in TheFox from allowing input (seems to be an editor called Ace-Editor)

When I deactivate Web Directory Free temporarily, I am able to access the editor.

Are you aware of any conflict between your plugin, and TheFox theme, or the Redux framework?

Hello, we are using a search but the order is not alphabetical. I have tried to add shortcode of order_by=title and order=asc but it doesnt change. This order shown is also not the order on the directory categories so it appears to be random. The shortcode in use is:

Hello, I have got the website to about where it needs to be. But youll see if i clear cache and then click on any link to a listing or even in the menu that it tries to redirect to that page via a redirect URL instead of to the direct URL for some reason.

Are you able to check this please? once you go back then click it again it will load fine but that means all new visitors will be faced with page does not exist.

If I search “Mosca” (Italian for Moscow) i get one result in Spain. With “Moscow” I get instead the correct results.
I have an exact clone of this website on a different server and I get the correct results also if I search “Mosca”. Both websites use the same Google API.

Any suggestion?

Hello, I am currently building a small directory for a client and they have Editor level access to the website. However when they add a listing it does not show on the website. They receive the following error at the top of the page when publishing a new listing or updating an existing listing:

The Sorting date field is required.
The Sorting hour field is required.
The Sorting minute field is required.

If I am logged in as site admin I do not see this error and if I then update the listings they then appear.

There would appear to be a glitch or software error in that listings created by users with Editor level access do not work?

Can you advise please?

After selecting a category in search form Categories field, one less post shows up after pressing the Search button.

Changing the date of a post does not move it down in the directory list, instead moving it to the first location, appearing as if the directory is sorting by post_modified. Is it possible to instead sort by the date of the post?

There the download is no longer available and I can no longer download updates. Currently I have the version 1.13.2 and I saw that you are now at version 2.9.18. How to customize the favorites page when using a custom page [webdirectory custom_home=1]

How can you remove the search form from the Favorites page /?w2dc_action=myfavourites when using a custom page webdirectory custom_home=1] ?

Tried to modify the favourites.tpl.php file, but it has no effect on the result.

If I deactivate Passster it works again. However, I would like to continue working with Passster.

When buying this plugin if you are a company there is no field to put the VAT number!

How can I buy the plugins as a company and be exempt from VAT.
