I’ve 150 static pages and 500 CMS items in Webflow. Do I need to actively keep this plugin installed? If I install this plugin and copy all of these pages onto WordPress and later delete the plugin, what will happen? Does this action delete all the pages in WordPress?
Hi

hello dear,

Hello,
I was brought to my attention that there is a vulnerability in the Webflow Pages plugin. This issue was reported nearly 6 months ago but it does not appear that it has been resolved.
Can you please provide an update on this issue and what risks if any are involved? The description on WPScan.com is unfortunately not very specific.
To fix it, I tried to generate a new api ‘hook’ but the web flow plugin keeps saying “api failed, please publish your web flow site first’
So I publish the webflow site and it does not fix the problem.
Is there any support for this plugin? My whole website is down until this is fixed.
I have a Webflow-made page that I have successfully displayed on my WordPress site, using the Webflow Pages plugin. However, my other WordPress plugins don’t work on that page.
The most important plugin that I want working is WP Accessibility, which displays a toolbar on the left side that toggles font size and color contrast. This toolbar does not show on the Webflow-made page.
How can I fix this problem, so that that toolbar can show on the page that I am using the Webflow Pages plugin? Is there code that I can add to the Webflow page??
Please help! Thanks.
I noticed it’s several WP versions behind. Before we adopt it for our next project, I wanted to check in and make sure Webflow is continuing development of it and plans updates in the future.
I previously connected a page on a client’s WordPress site to a landing page built in Webflow. Now we have built a multi-page website using a different Webflow site and need to update the same URL used to point to the new Webflow site. I reset the plugin settings, deleted it, reinstalled, and reactivated it and hooked it up to the new API key. I am still seeing the old web page on the pre-existing URL (launchtn.org/3686fest), but if I try to set up a page on a different URL, that works fine.
Just a quick heads up:
Your plugin is still only ‘Tested up to:5.4.4’. Your plugin is tagged as being outdated:
‘This plugin hasn’t been tested with the latest 3 major releases of WordPress. It may no longer be maintained or supported and may have compatibility issues when used with more recent versions of WordPress.’
But I can see that you updated the plugin 5 hrs ago. So please, do yourself a favor and mark it as being ‘Tested up to:5.7’ which is the current WordPress stable version.
I’m using the webflow plugin on several sites that work fine. For some reason, on this site, the home page loads fine but the other pages get a 404 error.
This plugin is currently throwing a notice as of WP version 5.5.0
When the plugin is activated, this notice is displayed:
Notice: register_rest_route was called incorrectly. The REST API route definition for
wf/v1/wf-site-published
is missing the requiredpermission_callback
argument. For REST API routes that are intended to be public, use__return_true
as the permission callback. Please see Debugging in WordPress for more information. (This message was added in version 5.5.0.) in /wp-includes/functions.php on line 5311
The missing permissions callback argument appears to happen in includes/public/class-webflow-pages-public.php
Adding ‘permission_callback’ => ‘__return_true’, does resolve the notice, but I can’t be sure that this route is actually meant to be public or not.
Hi,
Any of our sites that are utilising the ‘webflow pages’ wordpress connection have all literally stopped working overnight. (see example link)
The error message is:
“There has been a critical error on your website.
Learn more about debugging in WordPress.”
I have attempted to clear the cache, deactivate and reactivate all plugins all to no avail. The underlying blank wordpress site functions correctly if ‘webflow pages’ is disabled which tells me it is directly related to your plugin – I have also tried disabling all other plugins to see if it was a conflict, but no such luck.
Wordpress version: 5.4.2–en_GB
Underlying theme: Twenty Twenty
Webflow pages: Build version 1.0.5
Please can someone get this back up and running asap as our clients are not going to be happy about any downtime – especially with it being on a weekend.
Thanks
When using the webflow plugin when it’s deployed on Google Cloud Appengine I get 404 errors caused by URL containing double slashes (“//”). These are handled correctly by most servers, but not by Google’s configuration of nginx.
The reason for these double slashes are lines 99,100 and 108 in includes/admin/class-webflow-pages-admin.php which concatenate WEBFLOW_PAGES_PLUGIN_DIRECTORY_URL with “/externals…” and “/includes” but since WEBFLOW_PAGES_PLUGIN_DIRECTORY_URL is defined using plugin_dir_url which returns a dir ending in slash, the resulting path contains a double slash.
Thank you
Good Day,
I’m using WebFlow WordPress Page Plugin on my WordPress website, and I’m facing an issue with it, actually, I’m unable to adjust the heading tags in it, all the heading are by default H1 & H3, but I need to optimize them according to the SEO point of view, could you please help me with this?
Thanks in Advance.
Hey guys,
I’ve set up webflow pages on my wordpress server. When I enter a matched URL the webflow page renders fine except the server is sending the 404 not found code. (I can see it in the JS console).
Is this just me?
This is really bad for SEO since pages can’t be indexed.
Thanks.
Hello, We have a single page WordPress Site that uses X-Theme.
We want to create some additional pages using the Webflow Plugin, these additional pages will be linked internally to the existing page that is built on X-Theme.
Is there any reason why the two pages would not work together?
I’ve tried out the plugin and it works great with importation – nice job! One issue is the navigation. Is there any way to have either the WP nav or webflow nav appear across the whole site?
