if I change file permission into 0400 as suggested, it turns back into 0600.. They are the same right?
0400 -owner has read only(4), group and others have no permission(0)
0600 -owner has rw only, group and others have no permission
Support page is also gone: “https://www.websitedefender.com/category/faq/”

Gave me a lot of insight and knowledge of the vulnerabilities on the sites I manage. Great plugin.

this plugin is using eval() code from POST, it executes anything that is posted by controlling server. They shall give explicit warning that plugin is acting like a backdoor.

Very fast responses to issues from the developers. Thank you for the plugin.

I have used this for a couple of years.
It has saved me from some significant security risks.
I use it with their WP Security Scan and a few other security plugins and they all work together faultlessly.
Reports are excellent. Notes are given on how to fix most problems.
Brilliant!

Great Plugin
]]>Some problems it finds don’t have a clear answer for how to fix them. The forum doesn’t have answers either–it just sends you to email support, who may or may not get back to you. It would be helpful if answers were put in the forum or in a tutorial. Such as how to fix broken links it thinks are there but don’t exist (ones that somehow end with …link/%3C, or how to fix email addresses used in form submission code. Also has answers to see the website developer, which don’t help if you are the website developer. (How does one prevent source code from showing when someone asks to View Source?)
It does find things I can fix and lets me know about other security items to fix.
