Hi,
The Wordfence firewall says that the plugin is removed from WordPress:
“The Plugin “WEN’s Responsive Column Layout Shortcodes” has been removed from www.ads-software.com.”
Type: Plugin Removed
This doesn’t seem to be the case as of today. Is this plugin still maintained? If that is the case (I can see the last update was in August 2022), is it a false warning? Thank you.
Seems as wens-responsive-column-shortcodes is not compatible with PHP 8.1.
As PHP 7.4 support is ending is the upcoming few weeks.
Please make your plugin compatible with the latest PHP.
Thanks.
the plugin does not work with the gutenberg editor and I had to install the classic editor
HI,
on my website I configured in the latest new 4 colums and two rows, that’s working as announced. But the same site as he can’t show up only two colums on my ipad and iPad mini, there are holes, first row two colums, second one only, third one only, fourth and fifth two as it should be.
What can I do to repair this, is there some image size or short text to respect ?
Tanks for your hints ?
Regards
Martin
I’ve been successfully and happily using WEN Responsive Columns in a number of WordPress sites. I just updated one site to WordPress 5 and tried the Block Editor. Unfortunately, at this time functionality is lacking because there are not enough plugins compatible with the block concept.
Do you have plans to update WEN Responsive Columns to support the Block editor?
Dear WEN,
I’m using University Hub theme, on mobile and tabs it is not displaying properly. To resolve it, help me.
Most of my pages use your shortcodes. They will work one second, and stop working the next second. https://www.builderssurplus.us/flooring-cincinnati-newport-louisville/ is another page going back and forth. None of them were working yesterday but now a few are, but then won’t the next minute. I tried deactivating and reactivating.
Hi, Works great! Need all columns to vertical align. Styling tricks aren’t working so far. Is there a setting I missed?
Thanks!
John
It may seem a bit complicated to configure, but, To know which column to configure manually, use the firebug ( column size ) or, jus this :
In this, yo have to change 1colum configuration
1col (….space…. ) 2col 3col
In this, yo have to change the 2colum configuration
1col 2 col (….space…. ) 3col
my LTR languages work fine. But when I switch to an TRL language, the columns will not form correctly. I have 3 columns wide and they merge into one row.

Hi
https://ntfccommercial.co.uk/club-partners/
i can’t get the middle column to display with the same styling as the start and end columns – also, for some reason the start and end columns have a height of 361px, the middle one doesn’t have any height associated with it.
Any ideas?

Hi,
Shortcodes Ultimate prevents any text in a shortcode from displaying on the frontpage.
(Even when Display Full Post content is selected in Reading)
Does your plugin do the same?

Thank you for adding the grid system for adjusting column widths. That certainly addressed my previous suggestion very well.
I would like to suggest that there be an option for adding background shading to a column to make it stand out.
I would also like to suggest that there be an option to add column separators (like interior vertical borders) between columns.
Thanks!

Hi,
In this plugin, 2 columns doesn’t work properly. In the last column it adds a class names one_half_last_clear
, but it is not defined. I think this class should be one_half_last
.
Please fix it in the next update.

Hi there! Love this plugin so far but I am running into a problem. I want to create a shaded box behind one of the columns in a 2-column layout. I apply the div within the column shortcodes, but the box appears over both columns. Could you please advise what I’m doing wrong? Thanks!

It appears that columns are created with equal widths. Maybe there could be a way to adjust the widths based on percentage (e.g. to not solid single words in H2 headings) or to allow column widths to adjust based on content like tables.

Hi,
I noticed this plugin is adding extra
and tags to forms created with the Gravity Forms’s plugin. The extra tags are mainly in the gform_footer div (generated by adding the Gravity forms shortcode for a form), which results in a big space after the form submit button. The code ends up like this:

'
The br tags after each hidden input in the gravity forms HTML is not added when “WEN Responsive Columns” is disabled.
If it helps at all, the ‘WEN’s Responsive Column Layout Shortcodes’ plugin (assuming this is your plugin too?) doesn’t add the extra tags to a form from Gravity Forms.
Otherwise, the plugin is pretty spiffy.
