I have been using your column plugin for awhile now and it seems that it stopped working, but only on my homepage. I notice it’s working fine on the other pages I use your plugin, however everything is stacked in one column on my homepage, while I haven’t made any changes to the design. Any help is appreciated.

Installed OK, but seems to have no effect on a page. The code is there, but there appears to be no CSS. Both columns are 100% width on desktop.

One Half Last Clear Issue

When you set the columns to 2 or 1/3,2/3 the class on the last column is “one_half_last_clear” or the “two_third_last_clear”. As you can see there is an added _clear to these 2 column types that breaks your CSS. Can you fix this so there is no _clear added since you aren’t using that class in your css?

The issue is that the last lines of the 2nd column apears under the image in the 1st col.

I installed eVision Responsive Columns yet in the Plugin area of WP dashboard the tile appears “WEN’s Responsive Column Layout Shortcodes” This is confusing because there is another plugin by a different developer called “WEN Responsive Columns”. Just a suggestion, how about setting up title to match the plugin name? By the way all other parts of eVision plugin work fine.

Hi there, I’m trying to lay out a 2 rows of 3 columns each using this plugin and the content is just images with CSS text on top of them. The first two columns display the text just fine, but the “one_third_last” column places the text content way up at the top of the website and z-ordered behind everything else in the header, including the background image.

In the first row I just changed the class of the last column to “one_third” to see if the text would magically appear in the correct place over the image, and it did… though the column itself was in the wrong place. You can see in this screenshot that the second row columns are laid out correctly but the text is missing from the last column.

I administer the following websites – https://library.dawsoncollege.qc.ca & https://ithappenshere.dawsoncollege.qc.ca – and have happily used your plugin on both sites. It works beautifully!

However, our web administrator tells me that they may start forcing all of our sites to load through https – e.g., https://library.dawsoncollege.qc.ca/resources, https://ithappenshere.dawsoncollege.qc.ca.

Unfortunately, when the new secure layer is applied, the columns stop working. The contents of each column simply expand to the width of the page, and follow chronologically. No content is lost, but the page layout is destroyed.

If you aren’t already aware of this, may I ask you to please address it in the next update?

Hey, thanks for the plugin.

I prefer to break my columns with a @media query of max-width for screens below 700px, for example. I have a landing page with a 3 column layout, with video, text, and a form. Once below 800px, everything looks too squashed.

i need to build columns with breaks in them, like this:

item 123

item 125
item 126

but if i add a break in the text, the break is not recognized, rather it renders just as text like the following (spacing added in breaks to illustrate the point):

item 123< br / >item 124< br / >item 125< br / >item 126

how can i get the breaks to work so i can build a multicolums of category names?

Hi,

In this plugin, 2 columns don’t work properly. In the last column it adds a class names one_half_last_clear, but it is not defined. I think this class should be one_half_last.

Please fix it in the next update.

This plugin removed the line break of wordpress editor. If I put a in the text editor or hit enter in the visual editor it doesn’t work. The plugin removed the code.

I have the problem, that when I create a 2,3,4 or 5 column layout, the breakdowns does not work. When I watch a 4 or 5 column layout on a smartphone, there are also 4 or 5 columns with 1-3 words in a line.

How can I fix this, that the columns where shown among themselves?

I am using a new theme, cause my blog/website was hacked. The old theme was full width and so the two columns were usefull. Now I don’t really need them, because there’s not enough space. So I deactivated the plugin, but then the code is shown in the posts. Can I delete them somehow (not manually)?

Hey guys,
I would like to set 3 royal sliders with instagram posts in 3 columns.
I tried it with the following shortcodes.

Hello.
I work in local for the moment so I can’t show you a link. I use this plugin (in the Hueman theme) in order to cut a page in two columns. It is ok for the text. I also added an image between the title h4 and the text in the first column, and it works.
BUT, when I wanna add an image on the right side (or the left side) of a paragraph in the second column, then all thoses images go to the bottom of the page. I’m quiet advanced in wp management but I’m not a professionnal dev.
So please, if somebody would have the same problem (and the resolution!) thanks ?? (sorry for my english, i am French).

In column two there is a List element, however the List is not indented, so I added this to my CSS but nothing changed:

}

	padding-left: 15px;
}

Can you comment on what it takes to make a List element indent properly with your column plugin?
