Hello Guys, I am using 4.2.3 version and I want to edit a widget’s text. I couldn’t find the apply button, instead just “save and publish”. Since I’m not knowledgeable that much on wordpress, I’m afraid to save and publish until I’m sure I have seen the preview. Is the screen good as a preview? I had encountered some editing before when the page got distorted so that’s why I’m concerned not to save and publish before preview. Thanks a lot for your help.

and absolutely does not work with the current version
The following required plugin is currently automaticalie inactive: Widget customizer.
]]>I’m attempting to use this plugin with a woocommerce theme, which requires this plugin. Each time I try to activate the plugin, it gives me a notice at the top of the screen that the plugin is activated, but in the plugin list, it is still inactive. When I refresh the page it still displays as inactive.
Please help!
]]>Hi – upgraded my site (AgentPress Two theme) to 3.9 and there seems to be a conflict with the Widget Customizer that came included with the upgrade. While it works fine in Chrome, it doesn’t in IE10. The new (longer) menu on left isn’t expanded and the website view on rt only shows for a brief second before disappearing. I’ve already tried clearing cache etc. but no dice. Help?
]]>I was wondering if you know of / provide any hooks I could use to reinitialise some javascript on the widgets on save, or on adding a widget.
For example – I have some jQuery enhancing a widget’s select element, but when I save it or add a new widget the enhanced select element is wiped and reverts to the ordinary html one. I need some kind of hook so I can reinitialise the jQuery on save and add.
Thanks
]]>Hey,
Really like the plugin and the idea. I hope it gets rolled into versions of WordPress in the future.
In my day to day WP Dev I use a few different plugins to create instances of widget areas that only show on particular pages.
I installed your plugin and WooSidebars and unfortunately the only Widget area available was the default, but when using “Sidebar & Widget Manager for WordPress”?the default is grayed out and the dynamic sidebar shows, WHICH IS AWESOME. But “Sidebar & Widget Manager for WordPress” has problems of it’s own which is why I have started using WooSidebars.
I have no really request to fix, just wanted to know your thoughts on how to handle dynamic sidebars.
]]>Hi,
The plugin looks really good. I’ve just installed it and its breaking the javascript on my customize page. Its a clean install and its definately this plugin thats doing it.
Have you had any problems with it or do you think its something conflicting at my end?
Thanks

]]>Hi there…running WP 3.9 latest from 2/4/14 and Widget Customizer 0.14 with Twenty Twelve theme, there is a conflict with NextGEN Gallery 2.0.40 where Customize doesn’t show a widget area populated with widgets.
When NGG is deactivated, Widget Customizer works just fine. If you’d like more info, just let me know. If the problem is on their end, I’m happy to post a link to this thread.
]]>Can an option be added that the title is not displayed by the widget.
For example:
Add the widget “Recent Posts” I admit a no title. Then, also the widget header with the widget title not displayed.
This plugin is brilliant!
I would only like my clients to change the settings of one widget. Is this possible at all?
Thank you
Marc
I thought this would be the plugin, but maybe not.
I have 4 areas for footer, those widget “areas” are at the bottom of the screen. Then I have 1 category “area” called info. This info area I can add endless widgets and it is simply a sidebar. In my post or pages options I can choose to have a right or left sidebar, and then select *info to be used on those sidebars.
Thing is I’d like to duplicate this “info” widget area so that I could have a info-2, etc.. to select for different posts, with different widgets. (so that not all posts have the same widgets on those sidebars)
Did that make any sense, and does this plugin do this? DO any?
]]>>Appearance >Customize produces a menu containing the new options for the two side bars in this theme [NASH|GuuThemes], the menu selector moves up and down but none of the menu items are selectable and the content which should be in the right hand panel is completely absent. In fact it seems to slow the whole site down. Its like its running in slomo.
]]>after clicking on Appearance > Customize the list of sidebars briefly appears but then after a few seconds all the sidebars disappear. makes no difference if i click on any of them or not. I took a screencast, so you can see the visual for yourself. https://www.screencast.com/t/wj6u476hO
