Not a problem but a suggestion – what about a toggle or switch that would allow the user to change from by path or by standard php logic on a widget by widget basis?

Widget Logic worked perfectly fine, just that I needed the function with paths for just member pages.
As soon as I activated the Plugin Widget Logic by Path, it doesn’t show any widgets any more, where I set someting via Widget Logic.
How can I combine Widget Logic and Widget Logic by Path? Isn’t it a completly different php structure?
For example, with WL I use ‘is_user_logged_in()’,
but with WLbP I use <logged_in_user>.
I don’t understand the Logic of Widget Logic ?? Hope anybody can explain it to me. Thanks!!

I have a widget that I only want to show on certain pages, and only to logged in users. That works fine. But on those certain pages, I want to show something different to users who are not logged in.

I am trying to find a solution so widgets will only show on pages matching this CUSTOM URL search query and not on the site default search pages.

I have to write text widgets for 2,000-3,000 different cases, so it can be a mess to manage all these. So I’m looking for a solution to write less widgets.
I’m wondering if Widget Logic / Widget Logic by Path can apply here:
Let’s say that I have 10 pages, every page is descibing a product. On the sidebar, I will have a text widget fo each product, so I have to write 10 different text widgets.
How could I write only 1 text widget for the 10 different cases? It would show Text Part 1 for page_id_1, Text Paty 2 for page_id_2, etc.
Is that possible?

I’m translating a website at the moment and set up the logic through permalinks:
domain.com/de/history
domain.com/en/history
History is realized by a widget. Now I want to add another one and distinguish the translation through the path logic.
I’ve two widgets (one for each language):
Logic for the first one should be: “de/history”, for the other one “en/history”.
This is unfortunately not working. It shows me only one widget for both pages when I’m using the logic “history/”.
Any solution or idea, anybody? This plugin is amazing, if it solves my multilingual problem.
(For the translation I’m using qTranslate with the specified permalink options)

It does not help to deactivate widget logic by path, but it does help deactivate widget logic. But they don’t answer in their support board.
Any ideas?

I use a Video Theme and it doesn’t use categories for videos, it uses videocategories, the url are myweb/videoscategory/nameofcategory/ form.
I need to choose in which videocategories appears each widget, I have thought filter by page’s title will be a good option.
