This is a great plugin, however when I try to use it to restrict which product categories I have showing, it can only find Uncategorized when there are a few others in this test instance. Is there something I need to do to get it to index them?
I cannot find them with search or checkbox option.

]]>I’m using Version: 4.0.6.1 which is the current version. I get these errors in php log file. What should I be doing?
How do I display a widget on custom post pages where the value of a custom field dictates whether to display or not:
$customfield= get_post_meta( $post->ID, ‘_unavailable’, true );
if ($customfield === ‘yes’);
The above results in the widget not displaying at all.
]]>Hi there!
I believe my issue might be similar to:
https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/show-hide-bug-2/
And potentially caused by a fix to one of my older issues that was fixed: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/all-widgets-showing-in-customize-view/
Summary:
When viewing the site as an administrator in customize view, the widgets I have hidden for mobile are not rendered when viewing the customize screen in mobile view. As far as I remember the widget would render or least show up again if I made a change while viewing it in mobile view.
Why this is a bug:
The ability to see these widgets with admin/preview/customize mode is useful for widgets with admin overlays/options or to visually preview a mobile-only widget as a site administrator.
Images and context follow:
[Image 1]: The widget in the left collapsible list panel indicates (by means of background colour) that it is not visible. The customize admin preview is opened in mobile view (by means of the buttons at the bottom of the left-list-panel) but the widget should be visible in mobile view. Making any change to the widget to trigger a re-render/load in the preview (still in mobile view) does not fix the issue and the widget remains invisible. But note in the next image that the widget in fact appears for non-customize/incognito/non-admin view forced into mobile via DevTools (or viewed on an actual mobile device).
[Image 2]: As described above, when viewing the same widget location in forced-mobile view or on an actual mobile device (outside of preview/admin/customize view, i.e Incognito/guest) the widget is actually displayed per widget options settings.
[Image 3]: Site in customize view as administrator. Widget options on a widget are expanded and Desktop is selected but the widget is not rendered because the screen-size likely matches only Tablet in this view. BUT the widget is not greyed out in the collapsible widget list panel on the left which usually indicates it is visible. Making a change to the widget does not fix this.

]]>Hello, this plugin is adding a whole bunch of extra code into the HTML of Block Editor pages.
It is adding its options to every single block. But the settings are not being used at all for these blocks.
This is making is very difficult to locate elements in the code editor of a page.
It is also making things ‘messy’.
To give just a glimpse (sine I can’t add screenshots here), one block has the following bits of code in it:
"extended_widget_opts": {"id_base":-1, "column":
{"desktop": "12", "tablet": "12", "mobile":"12"},"alignment" :
{"desktop": "default", "tablet": "default", "mobile": "default"}, "roles":
{"state":"'","options":"hide"}, "visibility":{"selected":"0", "options": "hide", "acf":
{"visibility":"hide", "field":"'', "condition":''', "value":"'}},"author_page" :{"author_pages":
{"selections": "1"}}, "devices" :{"options": "hide"}, "days":{"options": "hide"}, "dates":
{"options": "hide", "from":"''',"to":"'},"styling" :
And it goes on and on…
Thank you

]]>I have been pulling my hair out trying figure out why the little black & white “+” block editor insert block buttons recently disappeared. When hitting the Enter key on my keyboard OR using the ‘Add before’ or ‘Add after’ options in the block Options panel to add a new block, the editor adds a new line with “Type / to choose a block” – with the paragraph block set as the default block BUT there is no “+” button allowing me to use the blocks pop up or “Browse all” blocks.
To isolate the problem, I started disabling plugins and as soon as I disabled Widget Options, the “+” buttons started working again. After more testing, I found it’s the “Gutenberg Page & Post Block Options” that adds in-page Widget Options functionality that borks the ‘add block’ buttons. This is unfortunate since some functions on the site rely on this in-page feature.
It would be greatly appreciated if someone from the mother ship could look into this and implement a fix.
Muchas gracias, (nice plugin otherwise BTW)
]]>Hi,
I’m the author of advanced iframe. A user of mine just reported that using your plugin cause issues with advanced iframe.
The problem is that you add shortcode attributes to my plugin! My plugin does check that all used short code attributes are known so users find e.g. typos in their setup quickly.
Now my check reports
The following attributes are unknown or cannot be read properly. Please fix or remove this attributes:
I think you should NOT modify shortcodes from other plugins. Please fix this on your side asap.

]]>Hello,
Installed this as I wanted to use two different product category widgets in WooCommerce; however whilst I can get both to show on mobile at once, or only the dropdown version (for mobile) if I don’t hide the dropdown on mobile, I can’t just get the dropdown version to show on mobile, and the list to show on desktop.
Whenever I try and do so, neither widgets show on mobile. It seems the desktop one is there, but hidden, but the mobile one isn’t even rendered.
]]>Hi,
I think an older version of your plugin supported pages in a hierarchy but this is not possible in the newer version. This makes it much harder to quickly select all pages within a certain section of a website.
A rival plugin (now removed from www.ads-software.com) showed the checkboxes as follows:
– Parent Page
— Child Page
— Grandchild page
Any chance that could be implemented/reinstated?
Hope you can help, thanks!

]]>Hi there,
I am hoping you can help me with a query about widgets and visibility.
I use a plugin called filter everything which uses a widget within the side bar with internal settings allowing me to create a filter and specify which page I want it to display on.
However, some pages have a small number of products and do not require a filter but because I have a widget within my side bar it causes a large amount of white space to appear on the left hand side. I think it also causes a little buffer on the left hand side when viewing on mobile.
Would your plugin be able to restrict this visibility for individual pages and bring my mobile back to normal?

I got in touch with my Web host and we went through some things and discovered that was this error with the plugin. I disabled it and voila – my site came back. I’ve tried re-downloading and reinstalling – same deal. What is the issue?
