Looks like the plugin developer has abandoned it as the incompatibility hasn’t been addressed for many weeks. This means that users have to avoid ANY plugins created by OTWthemes

Doesn’t work propperly with PHP 7.4 and PHP7.3. Plugin author doesn’t answer questions, his last response to suppoprt questions is more than three years ago – seems kind of abonned ??

Promising software, but has fatal bugs and looking at the error messages it seems like there are some simple typos in some of their variable name calls.
Unfortunately, the free version of the software is unsupported, so I’ve no choice other than to uninstall and choose another similar product.

Well, what a THIEF.
Below this is my original review of this plugin.
I just found another widget plugin named “Widgets on Pages” by toddhalfpenny. It seemed very familiar, the interface looks exactly the same, the options, the way it worked. It even had the same bug of leaving the sidebar behind after being uninstalled. I compared it to this plugin, and this one was made 3 months after the other one was. This one is being SOLD by otwthemes-dot-com. It is called “Sidebar & Widget Manager for WordPress” and cost $23. I do not approve of this behavior. My original rating was 5 stars, it is now 1 star.

I was really surprised to see the plugin actually works. It does exactly what I was hoping it would do, put a widget where a post would usually be. I just uninstalled the plugin and noticed it left behind the sidebar I created with it. I wish I could delete it, but no big problem really.

Nobody builds sites which are not responsive. The author at least should state clearly that the columns are not responsive so that the only users who doesn’t want a responsive site will use it.
This is a waste of time and energy for developers.

A superb solution & deadly combination when used with Enhanced Text widget.
You can PHP logic into the Enhanced Text Widget and choose which widgets to load up.
I even threw away Widget Logic because that plugin is flawed on the is_page().
Thanks for this wonderful plugin and I hope it stays updated.
It’s the bread n butter of my website.

Simple way to add widgets to pages. I used it to create a page with 1 full-width widget, and below that 3 columns with a widget in each.

Awesome! This is what I have been looking for! ??

Love it. Does what it should do and makes my job much quicker – no coding necessary. Will continue to use!

This is how it went for me:
—————–
It worked almost fine at first then it started displaying code at top of page next to post categories and in post summary, instead of summary of content, which was text. I have deleted for now and will try again on a test page again, but now the following coding remains:
otw_grid_manager_content: []
I haven’t deleted the sidebar yet but the contents have been removed from widgets. What a polavva! I used the text widget and placed it inside one of the widgetise sidebars. Then i placed text directly inside the text widget, as it should be seen with no formatting. Although all i can think of that I did wrong was perhaps i copied and pasted the text from the page and this caused some kind of formatting/code error….? Maybe I should have turned it to plain text. Am i barking up the wrong tree?
Can anyone advise please?

I got no response and so had to delete page and start again with different editor.
Ultimate TinyMCE looks quite good so far. ??

Theme: Responsive
This works great. I wanted to replicate my “home page” look and feel on a few of my other pages. I just couldnt figure it out. As a new person to wordpress most of what I could find, was very confusing, “edit this, copy that, move this, paste that.. wait! dont forget the CSS”
I really appreciate developers like this. Thank you for the plugin!!
