Hi! One question, is this plugin compatible with the latest version of WordPress? thank you!
]]>Hi there,
the ‘widgets’ metabox on the Edit Menus screen is not appearing anymore,
do you know why could that be and how to fix it?
I’m working with the WIM 1.0 over WP 4.9.9
Thanks!
It’s an amazing nifty plugin. I’m facing an issue with the hyperlinked text jumping to the next line.
If I’ve a plain text in the text widget, it looks fine and on a single line. However, if certain part of the text has a hyperlink (e.g. I want to add hyperlinks at two places in this text: Login here. Not a member? Register here). Every time hyperlink is added, it jumps to the next line. Looks something like this:
Login Here
| Not a member?
Register here.
I tried css codes as mentioned on the plugin page and added a few properties but not much luck. I tried:
.yawp_wim_wrap a {
width: auto !important;
padding: 0 !important;
float: left !important;
clear: left !important;
}
It helped with the first hyperlink to be in the same line but not with the second one. Any pointers on CSS fix for this?
]]>I am trying to set up a navigation menu as a widget, and then setting it up as a menu item using this plugin. Does not seem to work. Only the title of the widget shows up, not the actual menu that is assigned to the widget under Widgets in Menu. Thoughts?
]]>Hi and thank you very much for the very useful plugin.
Sadly it breaks the page after updating to WordPress >4.9. I had to deactivate all Plugins one by one to find the issue as I just got the following PHP notice:
PHP Notice: Trying to get property of non-object in wp-includes/link-template.php on line 331
After deactivating the Plugin everything works as expected.
I would be very thankful if you could take a look to it.
Thank you and best regards,
Philipp
]]>Hi,
Thank you for the plugin. It is so simple to use and the possibilities to make a custom menu are endless. Except for the styling part!
Many people (me included) have problems with the css styling. It would be really helpful if the css classes option (the optional field per menu-item in the backend) could be included in the plugin. That way it would be way easier to style it!
]]>I’m trying to put a Spider Calendar widget in my main menu using this plugin. The problem is the widget shows behind the Genesis-themed menu background, with just a tad visible to the right.
I couldn’t spot any code in any of the nested divs that might cause this behavior. Can you point me in the right direction?
Thanks,
Frank
Hi,
Thank you for the plugin. It’s very helful.
I used it to add social media icons to https://tinyurl.com/y8l2a6e2, with the SiteOrigin Social Media Buttons.
However, the preview shows them like this: https://www.screencast.com/t/jrzeOMOD.
And they look very different in the live version.
These are the settings I’ve selected in the widget: https://www.screencast.com/t/dRAJZmRDNj4
How can I
1 have more space between the icons?
2 centered vertically with the text to the right?
3 have them larger in size?
4 have them colored with the chosen color?
Thanks
]]>I have one menu with a number of head pages with sub pages underneith. In the Goran theme this creates a series of pates with drop down topic pages underneith.
I want to replace on of the head pages. I deleted it from ‘pages’, then went to ‘Appearance – menus’ and added the page to the menu. Then I visually moved the box representing that page to make it the header page with sub pages underneith. WordPress refuses to publish the page and says the page is “(Invalid)” and I have made an invalid selection. I have tried everything I know how and cannot publish this page. the subpage titles are now scattered all over my front page https://www.3ptraining.com.au and look awful. Can anyone help? If so please email me at [email protected]
]]>Hey, I tried to add a language dropdown menu in main primary navigation bar…so it actually shows up in my navigation but there is no padding for the flags on the top so its kind of ugly. How can I add a padding to the top of the widget? I don’t understand your css introduction so could you please tell me what css I have to add to have some padding?
Thanks you:)
]]>Hello. I was hoping this plugin would function so that the new widget menu item would show (closed) as other navigation labels – as clickable text only. As it is now, the widget (a 300×250 search box), appears in full, all the time with the navigation label showing as a title above it. Is there a way to make this plugin function so that the widget ONLY opens upon clicking on the widget menu title/text – similar to how the other navigation labels work – other menu items or new URL opens upon clicking?
Thank you for your valuable time.
]]>Hi,
when I place widget into menu it shows only widget title and thats it. Any idea why it now show content of widget?
Thanky you.
]]>Hi I have installed and activated the plugin and added widget to top menu (Search bar) but it is displaying two times . here is the link for widget menu.
Display sidebar in top navigation as well as in the slider.

The social media (jetpack) doesnt show up. However, it’s there in the source. What can I do?

]]>This widget would be exactly what I was looking for!
I installed it, and added some widgets to the “Widgets for Menu” area in the Appearance->Widgets section. For testing, I only added a simple Text widget.
Next I thought it would be as easy as going to Appearance->Menus to add this widget to my existing menu structure.
However there is no new “Widgets for Menu” section and therefore no checkboxes as in your screenshot to add a widget to the navigation menu.
Any ideas, what might go wrong?
]]>I followed the directions via the screenshots on your plugin page but when I go to edit my main menu add the widget to my main menu (it’s a font resizer) – I click the checkbox and click Add to Menu and nothing happens except the check in the checkbox goes away.
What am I doing wrong?
]]>Hi there! I love this plugin! I noticed on a couple of my sites that in the dashboard I got an error message: “Plugin deactivated due to error index does not exist” (I think this was the file name but unfortunately I did not get a screenshot first sorry!). I actually reactivated the plugin and it worked fine but since it happened on a couple sites I thought I would mention it. Thanks!
]]>Hi there!
Thanks a lot for this great Plugin. Using it for a while now and just updated to the latest version. Sadly I’m getting the following notice now and do not have an idea what this is related to.
Notice: Undefined property: YAWP_WIM_Walker::$attr_prefix in .../widgets-in-menu/classes/class-yawp-wim-walker.php on line 131
I would really appreciate you help for this.
Thanks a lot!

Hi,
When creating a new post it defaults to Widgets in Menu sidebar instead of the normal sidebar.
However When I go to appearance > widgets it says the default sidebar is the correct one (not Widgets in Menu). Also Note that I have multiple sidebars.
when I deactivate the Widgets in Menu it works and defaults to the correct sidebar when creating a new post.
When creating a new post:
1.) How can I stop it using the Widgets in Menu sidebar and instead make it default to another sidebar?
Thanks ??
]]>Hi,
I’ve used this plugin locally and it worked fine, but for some reason on the push to live it’s not registering properly.
In the widgets screen, I’ve got the custom widget section and have added the text widget I’d like to use. But when I move through the Appearance > Menu’s to select the widget and inset it in my primary Nav it’s not available.
The widgets section is no where to be seen on the page.
Please helppppp ?
]]>The plugin works great, just need to get this notice go away, I sow you said to replace the label function (line 449 in index.php) but it did not work for me, any other idea’s ?
Thanks!

]]>Im using your plugin to build a simple mega dropdown, where the user can add widgets to display rich content. This working fine, problem is I also deploy the same menu to offcanvas menus while in mobile navigation, where displaying widgets seriously complicate things.
I was looking for a solution where I could filter out the widgets within the menu, when the menu was being displayed using a widget. Is this possible?

May I do something to correct it ?
Thanks for your help
