This plugin will be ideal for protecting vanilla (raw) PDF embedded on web pages that use a copy protection solution like the ArtistScope Site Protection System (ASPS).
ASPS provides the most secure copy protection for all media displayed on web pages… except for PDF, because while PDF is unencrypted and normally opens using Adobe Reader resources, the embedded reader will always provide save, print and copy options in its toolbar.
But with this plugin, those toolbar options can be removed, thus making it possible to copy protect PDF on ASPS web pages.

I asked the developer whether they could remove the menu item “text selection tool”, they released a new version in one day and it works like a charm! Thanks, much appreciated!
I know (I was informed by the developer) hiding the buttons is not bulletproof and won’t completely prevent viewers from downloading the pdf file or copying text from it, but it is good enough for me. I just don’t want the buttons in the pdf viewer and make it too easy to download or copy.
I am also a paid customer of their premium plugin bundle, great plugins and great service, highly recommend!

Printing and download is too easy to enable even if you disable in settings. Not secure for piracy at all
