Hello,
Is there an estimate of when this plugin will be compatible with the new WooCommerce databases? because we need that urgently.
Thanks.

Hi,
I want to report a bug in the pro version as well.
Out-of-Stock email still coming even though Disable backorder email notifications is checked.
Furthermore the plugin is showing fatal errors in the logs:

I need to translate the Backorder Messages in Italian and Spanish, how I can do this ?
Hi,
Even thought the PRO plugin is meant to overwrite the Woocommerce notice for backorder on the product page, mine doesn’t seem to do it.
In the backend I have changed the BACKORDER DESCRIPTION to say “Available on backorder” but currently my frontend of the product still says In Stock. Even though, my settings for Allow Backorders is “Allow, but notify customer” and I even already have one backorder for this product.
Thanks,
Elina
Hi Jeffrey, I put this in code canyon comments as that’s where I paid for the plugin originally but no answer yet, this is a feature request but I think it is essential so customers do not feel mislead. When the item is in grid view, the customer only sees the title of the product, an image, price and add to cart button. The only time they see the message about back ordering is if they go into the product page. So if the customer presses add to cart in grid view they may not be aware they are choosing to back order a product.
It would be better if the Add to Cart button could change to something customisable, e.g. Back Order Now or Pre-Order Now. At the moment they all look like they are in stock with the same Add to Cart button.
Hi
I have a product (“Testprodukt”) with inventory “1”. If I buy 8 of them, the inventory will be “-7”.
When I’m in the overview page of woocommerce orders, the “Backorder?” column is empty. Even when I go to the detail page of the order, I don’t see anything.
Screenshot 1 (Woocommerce order overview): https://share.getcloudapp.com/kpuDm5Z5
Screenshot 2 (Woocommerce detail page of the order): https://share.getcloudapp.com/2Nuqr58G
On the right side (marked in red) the message that the inventory has been reduced to -7 appears correctly.
If these things work, this would be a great plugin.
I would be really happy if you can help me.
Kind regards,
Olivier
Hi!
I’ve got two requests and please feel free to contact me personally ([email protected]) about this – I don’t mind paying extra.
1. Support Variation Products
I’ve noticed that this lacks support for variation items
2. Partial stock fulfillment
This isn’t really a feature request yet, I first need to make sure if this is the case or not. So if there are existing backorders, and I fill the stock level of the product, is it possible for those older orders to not be labeled as backorders anymore?
Please let me know.
Hello,
Thank you for the plugin. I have some backorder every now and then, and this helps to keep them organized and its better for the customers.
I would like to make a request if possible.
If I have any backorder, I manually email the customer to inform them of the date at which I expect to have stock again. I then also mention that they can receive the products in stock for an extra shipping charge. But it would be much easier if this showed up on the Checkout page.
What I mean is:
If there are any products in the checkout that are in backorder? Then show a box on the checkout that says “Would you like to receive the products that are in stock right now? The backorder products will be deleverig on a later date.” with a checkbox. If the custom box is checked, it adds a certain amount of shipping cost to the total.
In my case it would at 7.25 extra shipping cost to the total sum.
That way customer can decide for themselves if they want to receive the backorder-products on a later day, or just wait till the whole order is complete.
Hi
Great plugin, but there is a small bug I found that you might want to fix sometime.
If the WordPress installation is in a sub directory, then the links in your code don’t work on the Orders Report Screen. For example: on line 120 of wc_report_orders_backorders.php the following code:
echo '<a href="/wp-admin/post.php?post=' . $item->order_id . '&action=edit">#' . $item->order_id . '';
Should be:
echo '<a href="' . get_admin_url(null, 'post.php?post=' . $item->order_id . '&action=edit">#' . $item->order_id) . '';
The next link needs the code fixed as well.

Hi! I use a lot of custom labels on my purchase flow and as I read, plugin only shows orders with Backorder items if status is: processing, pending and on-hold are shown.
How can I manage to see all of the orders with backordered products excepting canceled and completed?
Thanks!

I tested to order a product that was out of stock and also set to “backorders allowed” so the stock quantity was changed to -1. Still in the orderview under the column backorders? nothing shows up. Same if I go till reports > orders > on backorders, nothing. But if I go to > stock > on backorder I can see the product. How can I make this work all the way?
We use Klarna payment and I also paid using invoice if that does matter.
Cheers
Separate backorders that are ordered and orders that are waiting for payment. When customers add to the shopping cart and do not pay, the products that are backorder products are on the same list as the goods that are backorder products that have been paid for. We only want to order the goods that the customers have actually ordered.
Is there any possibility of separating this? And is there any way to get it on the order confirmation that it is a backorder?
HI,
I use your backorder manager pro and would like to know whether it is possible to show a custom backorder description also in a composite products or bundle items as well
I sell custom made computer cases and one composite consists of several SIMPLE items, etc.
And if a SIMPLE item is sold out, it can be backordered. Via your plugin on the checkout page that particular item is shown with its custom backorder message as expected, but the complete composite is unaffected.
Would it be possible to add such feature, that when a SIMPLE component is on backorder, the main composite item would also show such backorder notification?
Without it the customer often miss, that the complete product cannot be shipped right away if some parts are on backorder.
I use the official COMPOSITE PRODUCTS and BUNDLE ITEMS plugins:
https://woocommerce.com/products/composite-products/
https://woocommerce.com/products/product-bundles/
Thanks in advance for checking.

En volgt woocommerce de bestelling dan automatisch op?

Hi,
I am wondering, is it possible to add a column in the order overview of WooCommerce with the information of report ‘Orders with Backorders’.
What I want to know when I am in the order overview is what orders are NOT in Backorder. But if I can see which ones are in backorder that helps a lot already.
Kind regards,
Olga
Hi
If i select allow backorder but not check the manage stock option, it won’t appear in the list.
Also, if manage stock option is enabled, then Sold Out badge will show in front end. I don’t want this. Is it possible to use your plugin without the manage stock option enabled?
Thank you!

Thanks
Hi. I just wanted to confirm how it works with the maximum backorder amount. If we chose 10 max backorders and there was only 1 left, then someone ordered the last backorder available (and it went to out of stock) would it automatically go back to 1 available backorder once we mark the order as ‘shipped’?
