Hi Team,
We are currently using the “Big Post Shipping for WooCommerce” plugin (version 2.0.12). On the checkout page, entering the postcode results in a response time of approximately 17 to 25 seconds.
We tested the API via Postman, where the response was received within 2 seconds. Similarly, testing with PHP cURL showed a response time of 3 to 5 seconds, confirming that the issue is not with our server. Despite this, the plugin takes significantly longer to fetch the response.
Could you please investigate this issue and provide suggestions to reduce the response time and improve the user experience?
Please refer to the screenshot.

Looking forward to your response.

]]>Hi there,
Your plugin is marked as not being compatible with WooCommerce’s High Performance Order Storage. Is that on the roadmap as it’s the only thing holding back my client from upgrading to HPOS?
]]>I just installed this plugin in my https://www.greatannexes.com.au/ – this website but when i go about to checkout https://prnt.sc/mR5DqN8gRftu -this happens. Let me know if you need any more information of woocommerce related or debug log or anything from my side.
Thanks.

After adding go to cart. If admin is already logged in, then big post shipping rates are visible. if not logged in then bigpost shipping rates are not visible.
Is there is any setting, by which bigpost shipping rates visible to all guest users also?

]]>Hello,
I just updated this plugin to the latest version today. When I either save a product as a ‘draft’ or try to publish it won’t do anything. If I hit the ‘Preview’ button it updates the product.
Therefore I have disable the plugin while updating products. Could you look into this as a matter of urgency.
Cheers!
]]>I added the plugin and put my Production Plugin Key
but it is not applying for the cart
Can you please help ?
I keep getting this error after changing order status in admin panel. Call to member function set_shipping_state() on null woobigpost-misc-function.php. I tried to move that line inside if( isset(WC()->session) ){ but it still causing the same error. Any idea what’s wrong.
]]>Hi guys,
The checkout API calls are very very slow, and we are on an Australian VPS with 4 cores and 8 gig ram.
This really needs looking into.
also, we found an issue where a customer can put a postcode in(on the checkout page), and not choose a suburb, but still checkout.
Here is a link to a vid showing the issue: https://www.dropbox.com/s/x9jjfp9xbt3vgl5/screen-capture.webm?dl=0
A client has another shipping plugin as well as bigpost. The resync order label in the order edit area needs mention of Bigpost in the label for clarity. eg The client thought they were re-syncing to sendle. Thanks
]]>Hey team,
Please can you look at how your plugin obtains the Weight and Dimensions for products.
Currently your plugin creates its own Weight and Dimension fields under ‘Product Quote Setting Customisations’ and totally ignores the Weight and Dimension fields in Woocommerce? Not quite sure why you would do that!
Every other shipping plugin in the world gets shipping data from Woocommerce > Product Data > Shipping.
Your Weight and Dimension data simply has to be compatible with a Standard Woocommerce layout, else it cannot work for the vast majority of business models.
It would be great if you could either remove the Weight and dimension component of your ‘Product Quote Setting Customisations’ or at least allow the plugin to grab this data from it logical location under Woocommerce > Product Data > Shipping as well.
Thanks
]]>Hi there I see that the plugin has dimensions weight etc but not for each variation? Am I missing something? Thanks for your help.
]]>On cart page plugin shows Multiple addresses based on entered postcode but as I choose any once and click the update button no shipping option visible only shows “Enter your address to view shipping options.” and on the checkout page no shipping method error message.
So please let me know what I need to update in setting for this or is this plugin doesn’t return any shipping option?
Please reply asap.
