Please update the country of Belize locations, its missing the entire Orange Walk district.
]]>Hi,
I’m having an issue whereas when France is the selected country the state field does not appear. I’ve set up shipping for specific french Departments but since the state field is not appearing, orders can’t be placed.
This issue seems to be specific to WooCommerce’ Block checkout, is this plugin compatible with the Blocks checkout?
]]>Hi
I want to remove certain locations (ie Isle Of White) from the County field on the Checkout page
Do I edit the uk2.php file and would this be overwritten on any plugin updates?
If so, can I copy to my child theme and what would the path be (current path is wp-content/plugins/woo-locations/locations/uk2.php)
Thanks
Malcolm

]]>Hi, we need to work with a 3rd party and they require Middlesex to be an optional UK county. I see that you have a legacy option that has Middlesex which we could use to resolve this issue but the problem is that it does not include at least Bristol so there are still at least 1 county missing. Please can you ensure the legacy option has all counties available including Middlesex and Bristol etc so we can use it? If there is a problem with this approach could you include an alternative option such as creating another list for selection or providing us with a hook that we can add to our theme to add Middlesex to the current UK list?
]]>Hi there,
Apologies if I’m missing something obvious but I can’t see how I implement this plugin. After install I can select UK and see a list of counties, but no direction on how to select / modify these. I’m assuming the plugin requires an addition to my functions.php but I can’t easily find the code I’m required to add and modify.
Thanks,
Dave
]]>Hi,
I’d like to add placeholder text to the county/state dropdown that is created by the plugin. If the UK is selected in the country field it needs to say ‘Select a County’ or if the US is selected for example I need to change the placeholder to ‘Select a State’ . Do you know how I can I set this up?
Thanks

I think they’re meant to be covered by Highland but it doesn’t work that way.

]]>Hi
Is it possible to disable UK regions from the dropdown list we don’t deliver to?
]]>Hello,
Could you please add all the regions of Scotland to a parent region named Scotland? Meaning all the below regions to be child regions of one region named Scotland.
Scotland / Aberdeenshire
Scotland / Angus
Scotland / Argyll & Bute
Scotland / Ayrshire
Scotland / Clackmannanshire
Scotland / Dumfries & Galloway
Scotland / Dunbartonshire
Scotland / Dundee
Scotland / East Lothian
Scotland / Edinburgh
Scotland / Fife
Scotland / Glasgow
Scotland / Highland
Scotland / Lanarkshire
Scotland / Midlothian
Scotland / Moray
Scotland / Orkney
Scotland / Perth and Kinross
Scotland / Renfrewshire
Scotland / Scottish Borders
Scotland / Shetland Isles
Scotland / Stirling
Scotland / West Lothian
Scotland / Western Isles
Also, can this be done for Wales and Northern Ireland? It will help enormously to select just one zone i.e. Scotland, when creating shipping zones rather than having to select all the subregions of Scotland separately. Also having to select so many subregions for one shipping zones, makes it very hard to create an automatic XML feed to Google Merchant center, as the shipping value has to be fetched from the shipping table to the xml feed for each UK sub-region and the workload on the server is huge to create this xml file. I hope it’s clear what I mean.
Otherwise, if this suggestion conflicts with the parent region UK, to simply have additional regions Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, which by default would contain all their subregions.
Please let me know if this is plausible.
Thank you!
Hi,
When customers visit the checkout page, the County field always seems to be pre-selected to display Leicestershire, so they have to manually change the county to something else. Sometimes customers don’t change the County field, so their correct address might be in another part of the UK, but the county will say Leicestershire, which creates some confusion.
I’m not too sure why it’s showing Leicestershire when customers first visit the page, please can you let me know how to change this so that it shows something like “Please select county” instead, so that customers are aware they need to select their county in the field?
We are running the latest version of the plugin on 1.8.2
Many thanks,
Andrew

Hi,
This plugin is exactly what I require for French Regions.
The only issue is that I need the field to be marked as required NOT Optional.
I have tried various field editors and adding code to the function.php in the child theme but to no avail – would you know how I might to achieve this?
Regards Ian

Hi,
First, thank you for this plugin, it’s really helpful!
I’m trying to separated UK mainland with Ireland & the Channel Island but for some reason the customer always matches to my “United Kingdom” zone.
Here is a screenshot:
https://i.ibb.co/p4jVGkj/Screenshot-2021-03-22-at-17-18-16.png
Is there something wrong in how I’ve set it up?
I’m testing with the following postcode: PO30 5SE (Isle of Wight).
Thanks a lot!
Best,
Kevin
Great plugin, useful for me for adding the Ecuadorian Provinces. Is there a way I can help in adding the cities of each province to your Plugin?

]]>Hi,
The UK counties list seems to have a couple of issues which I thought I could mention, in the hope it helps keep the list up to date:
1) Scotland / Argyle and Bute – the correct spelling is Argyll
2) Greater Manchester seems to be missing!
Finally do you know why new users on my site use your list to identify their county, but in the WP dashboard list of users this gets translated into a two-letter county code.
I would absolutely love to be able to disable this ??
Any help or ideas would be very gratefully received!

Hi there.
We are using this on two websites, both are in Lincolnshire, UK.
For some reason, selected="selected"
is in the code on both sites for Lincolnshire.
Why would that be? I don’t see any settings to ‘default’ it to a particular town.
Can you help?

How easy would it be to include an option that just gave you Europe excluding the UK?
