Does your plugin start counting views when plugin is first activated or it pulls data from other sources?

This plugin is exactly what I needed for my website. Can you perhaps tell me if there is a way to just display the most viewed products and not the amount of views?

The plugin is working fine except that how can i customize it.

I need to customize this functions

wcmvp_get_most_viewed_products() & wcmvp_render_most_viewed_products()

I need to add something on the $query_args and the html output
