I realize you’re not actively working on this plugin, but it would be useful to eventually get it up and running, so the problem here is the plugin is automatically enabling “Redirect to the cart page after successful addition,” which we need to be off.

Using WooCommerce on Divi Theme.

When I create a Variable Product, the upload file box and the Add to Cart button does not show. When I change it to a simple product, everything works.

Noticed that the letter count is wrong for .docx files. For pdf files, it is correct.

I’m having no luck being able to display only 2 decimals (standard currency format) on the individual product page. Both the Cart & Checkout pages display the usual 2 decimals but I can’t get the product page to follow suit. I’ve tried a variety of custom code to change the display but I can’t seem to target the ‘ppw_total_amount’ element – it always returns an error because it’s ‘undefined’ when I’m attempting to access it. Is there an easy fix for this?

Hello Angeleye! Thank you for this great plugin.
We discovered a few issues with how it works though:
1- The price range doesn’t work. Maybe because decimals cannot be entered using commas; so we had to use dots. But it doesn’t calculate according to the ranges we set.
2- Cannot delete what’s uploaded and start from the scratch. And it saves what’s loaded inside a cookie so reloading the page doesn’t help either. If it did, we would have add a link to reload itself.
3- The client can change change what they want to pay; just by reducing the number of the words.
I am ready and willing to pay for an urgent update. Thank you.

Could you tell me where they are in the code so I can change them ?

The word count function works accurately, however then when moving forward to the cart (which is listed as submit on my site) the word count remains correct, but the total cost is set at my Price Per Word (R0.03) and does not reflect the correct cost for the customer.

I.e. Incorrect cost in the cart.

I’ve noticed that woo commerce and wordpress updates have been listed as issues on the past – could this be the same problem?

If i upload a file, the system write me:
File successfully uploaded, but with an exclamation point red!

no add tocart button, no total price and no count words.

If i refresh red exclamation will be green, but no cart, count or total.

When I recieve an order email, after a customer has gone through the process of uploading and paying for the document, there is no link in the email for the document – this is quite important, how do I resolve this?

This is one of the listed features and is not working.

I made fresh Wp, Woocommerce and Price Per Word installations with Storefront theme.

Plugin counts the characters and calculates the price correctly up to 30 variations
But it calculates “0” as total price when I added 31th variation.

I was very interested in this plugin and created my first product with price per word.
Unfortunately the word count does not work as expected.

I have set 0,03 € as price per word in backend.
After selecting a some variations and uploading a document in frontend I get directly forwarded to the Cart page without word counting.
So my uploaded document with 2839 words only costs 0,03 €. I think that’s very cheap for an offered service ??

I have read that there are compatibility problems with newer WordPress and WooCommerce versions.
I have installed the latest versions of both WP and WC.

Are there any news when your Price per Word plugin will be updated? ??

I’m having trouble getting the price breaks to work – it doesn’t let you upload a document unless you enter an amount per word, but then it doesn’t recognise and calculate the price in terms of the price breaks.
I’m also confused as to why the customer can change the wordcount in the basket? At present they can reduce the wordcount and therefore pay less than what it originally detects…

Hello when uploading the doc, it’s not showing the right price, it counts the words well but it displays $0,00 as total price.
Also another issue, I checked that the price breaks is not working correctly, I am not able to set any amount in the boxes from admin.
I’m working with latest woocommerce and wordpress versions.
Please advise.

I have one product that I would like to have a set price depending on the word count (ie., $250 for up to 50K words, $450 for up to 100K words). I don’t see any way to do this right now. Is there some way to include this in the future?

I’ve tried several different document types, .doc, .pdf and .txt, they all count a different number of words, I verified this using wordcounter.net and also manually counted the words. Also it does not read .docx files at all

I found that when customers uploaded their files and it will be saved in “upload” folder in WP and I will have an email notification with the file download link. I wonder if there anything I can set to have the system send the uploaded file as an attachment instead of a link in the email. So I can have a double-security on client’s file. I wonder if you have such settings to back-up uploaded files or any premium support I can ask for to have some customized function like this.

Could you let me know which woo commerce customization plug-ins works best with yours?

I tried a couple of plug-ins like “woocommerce enhancer” to change the font and color of the text “Price per Word” line. However, I found the color change only happens on the product page itself. When I embedded the product page code to my home page, the “Price per Word” color changes back to “green” as the default.

Could you let me know if there’s more direct way to fix this problem? Thank you very much!

Thank you guys so much for developing such a useful tool. It helps me a lot! I just want to embed it into my website more perfectly. So I wonder if there’s a way I can change the text and color for the “choose file” button so I can make it more “flashy” to my customers?

Also, there’s a long rectangle “gray” background sitting under “choose file” button. I wonder if there’s a way (or change some css code?) to make this “gray zone” into transparent so I can make it look natural with my background picture.

(I embeded woocommerce product page code into a theme called “layers” so this product can show on my homepage)

Somehow, the delete file button is not displayed after upload. The only way to remove it now, is to add to cart and then delete from the cart page. Please see screenshot.

Hi guys, I have a problem with the plugin as the counting of words are not accurate. my ms word says the word is 8641 but the word count on the word calculation of the plugin is 7614 i tried to convert it to pdf and the counted words is also different and went to 8798.

For variable translating, based on source and destination language, I create variable product with some values.
when I upload document, it correctly shows number of words and the price, but when I add it to cart, the price in cart is for just one word.
for example, translate to French is 20 cents per word, I upload a document and it says 12$, but when I add it to cart, my total cart is only 20 cents.
